Extraction Edibles and trim question

Well, my brownies I made turned out pretty damn good! I just decarbed my dry ice shake in cocca butter in the amount the box called for. I used a damn good box brownie mix and added an extra egg.
Damn good long lasting relaxing body high with a pretty even head high with no couch lock, but I'm ready to sleep at the 'normal' time.....and sleep is fantastic!
I gave my neighbor a couple and they loved the brownies, my first ever, and loved the high.

Next thing is making chocolates!!:cools:
Sleep is the most important to me and I can get through a whole night with edibles.
The big thing to remember. I keep forgetting not to lick the spoon!
 
Guys, if you don't pre-clean the mixing utensils they might not get fully clean in the dishwasher, its only the responsible thing to do. :chef:

Same here. I only eat my brownies at night or late afternoon when I don't need to do anything so that if I need to crawl into bed and curl up into a ball under the covers with a pillow over my head and wait to come down. Sometimes it is a relaxing stone, sometimes it is crawl into bed and wait until tomorrow and the weed hangover to come.

That was the mistake I made when I made my first batch of cannahoney. The honey wasn't warm enough by the time I finished straining and my hand and spatula were covered in honey..

I didn't want to waste it so I licked my hand and spatula clean before washing, like Winnie the Pooh. It didn't take long to realize I had made a big mistake.

I now immediately strain while 160 degrees so the honey flows quickly through the filter and less on my hands.

Doug what is your procedure for cannahoney. I have been trying to make some. There is a lot of bad info or says it can't be done.

First time I used instructions from someone here but then located the recipe right on the MBM website. If you have a Magical Butter Machine or clone it is simple with no effort, simply measure ingredients after decarbing weed and dumping everything in the machine. Straining and cleanup is the hardest part. The last time I did it I used a higher temperature setting for the last 1/4 hour setting the temperature at 160 Fahrenheit to thin the honey out for straining.

I decarb first under directions from MBM decarb box in my oven.

Then use my Infuzium STX which is apparently a Magical Butter Machine clone to process the honey with directions from the MBM website. Copied and pasted below. I used a teaspoon up to a tablespoon of honey in coffee or just ate the honey.

Ingredients

Directions
  1. Place the ingredients inside your MagicalButter machine and secure the lid.
  2. Set your temperature to 130°F and then press the 1 HOUR OIL button.
  3. After the cycle is complete, unplug the unit and remove the head of the appliance.
  4. Grab a large bowl or measuring cup and secure your Purify Filter bag in it. Put on your Magical Glove, and pour the contents slowly through your Purify Filter, squeezing gently to get all of your extraction.
  5. Store in a mason jar or glass container and enjoy.
Bad thing is the MBM or clone blends the weed while processing the honey. This whips the honey and causes tiny foam bubbles which slowly flows to the top causing a nasty foam scum to top the honey over a week or so depending on how thin it is at first. I spoon the scum off because it is unappetizing to me.

I have the magical butter machine 2 and it is amazing. I follow the directions for canna butter and use 2 oz of flower to 2 lbs butter. Pour it into 1/4 cup molds and let harder. Vacuum seal them individually and they are good to go. Lately I’ve been buying those melting chocolate wafers and then melting 4 cups in a double boiler and then folding in 1/4 cup of the butter. I do two batches at a time, one white and one dark chocolate. Once everything is folded nicely I pour some white chocolate into some small molds to the halfway mark. Then I added rice crispies, Oreo crumble, skor bits, pretzels chopped up, into the different molds. Each little mold got one of the 4 just listed. I then cracked some pink Himalayan salt over and then filled the rest of the molds with the dark chocolate slurry. These are delicious and easy to dose! Take one , of the bigger ones after dinner and you can have some drinks and play games no issues. Eat 3 and then some of the shrapnel after cooking and you can except to have your mind race like crazy. I couldn’t sleep hahahaha:stir: The recipe I just listed makes about 300 of these delicious morsels

I gotta try this with my old lady and do a side by side I guarantee ours will look like a nailed it disaster next to that those are solid im super impressed.
