So here i go for the first time after lots of rummaging online and a little organisation..

i'm using a 600w Dual spectrum HPs with a ds120 tent . 120x120x180.

10 Easy ryder and 3 babylon flash (freebies) all fems

9th feb the seeds were soaked for 36 hours then used paper towel method in the airing cupboard. They all germinated except for one ER.

12th feb mixed up canna terra pro plus with general compost 50/50 and filled 11litre pots and planted sprouted seeds taproot down.

all 13 lucky pots are in the tent with the 600w on 24/0 so i can keep the temps up as the tent is in the garage where it gets cold. temps have been between 24-27C . humidity around 40-45. trying to raise it with wet towels, misting and a pan of water.

today nearly all have popped the surface and have discarded their shell and put out two little leaves.

will be adding carbon filter and fans a little later. not sure what i 'm going to feed them yet.. probably biobizz range.

i'll put up a pic when i find my camera charger.. but there aint much to see at the moment :)

welcome to AFN buddy!.

i also grow in a dr120 , and a alittle advice IMO 13 in a 120 tent is to many , they will all hug each other and the canopy will block out any light to the lower branches.
I just finished a grow of 9 maxi goms in a 120 tent , and i could have got the same yield from 6 spread out.

Maxi goms are a very big auto , so nine easyryders would be a good fit , snug but ok.

also 13 will be a nightmare to water and look after as they grow.

Anyway best of luck to you buddy im sub'd and will kept my eye on the thread. :pop:

thanks guys! it must of been a lot harder for growers twenty years ago before internet forums were around like this one to help and share tips and mistakes with each other. Now we all have at our fingertips AFN to be grateful for that help us along the way to getting a happy harvest! :)

So one week on and now down to 8 EZ and 3 BF. i know addski you suggested having only 9 but will just keep what ive got and see as i go along. its early days yet. will switch from 24/0 to 20/4 sometime this week as it seems to be the cycle of choice around here..

Looking forward to next week and some new growth :)

oh i forgot to mention that my lamp is around 36 inches from the tops .. i've been saying to myself maybe i should lower it now.. what do you guys think?

update: 14 days.

i dropped the light this week gradually and it now stands at 30 inches from the top of the centre plant. i'll keep dropping it till i get down as low as i can.

its been very hot in there with temps going from 27c to 30c, so i've been leaving the tent door open during the day.

two plants show sign of wierdness:
one is yellow. i think this might be a mag/cal def so will be buying some epson salts, hope this will bring back the green

the other has curled twisted wrinkled leaves. other plants are showing sign of this too. maybe this is heat stress and humidity low. not much i can do there.

i cant get humidity to rise over 30-35 .. misting, wet towels but it doesnt do much.

overall pleased with week 2 as i can see growth since last week .. so thumbs up! bring on next week..

idk cause I currently have a 20 day old easyryder under a 125 watt cfl like 2-3 inches away and the middles leaf of almost every fan leaf set is wrinkled and have rust looking spots on them and i just waited 4 days then transplanted into fresher soil and flushed so we'll see what happens but similiar problems man for sure...

Nice grow-op Shambles everything lookin good and healthy and lookin forward to updates:drool:

update @ day 21

this week i've been playing with getting the light closer to my plants now they are older and stronger. they were put under a little heat stress and some leaves crinkled up round the edges but soon sorted thereselves when the light was once again raised. settled with 18 inches from the tops this week.

i've been having problems with high temps being around 28-31c. but now temps have dropped a couple of degrees by changing light schedule from 24/0 to 20/4. the 4 hours darkness has gently cooled the tent nicely.

still havent given them any nutrients. this weekend i'll probably get biobizz bloom, grow and topmax. from what i've read seems quite forgiving and easy for first time users.

all the ER have started to throw out white hairs. the flash babylons have yet to.

all the plants range from dark green to light lime green . this is probably not a good sign and signifies they that surely need some sort of supplement but once again this week i have seen what i see as vigourous growth so green thumbs up!
