DAY 16

Yo, guys. Started a thread before AFN's untimely demise and figured I'd follow up after its resurrection.

Anyways, my box is ~13 cubic feet and is housing 4 Early Miss girls from CK; started with 5 but one had to be sacrificed to appease the gods. This being my first grow, I made a few errors in the beginning that may have hindered the growing progress of some but we appear to be mostly on track. I just added a new LED flood light to replace a few dinky bulbs I got off amazon so hopefully their growth will hasten. Using GenHydro supplements as you can see from the pic but am also using HyrdroGuard and CalMag. Looking forward to watching these babes mature into fine young ladies!

My box is insanely quiet and can be muted by simply closing the closet door.
This is the fan I'm using and highly recommend it for those in need: http://www.amazon.com/Tjernlund-PVC4-Mitigation-Directly-Connects/dp/B00BJ7YHB6

The tub I'm using is marked for 10gal but I'm currently at 4.5gal.
pH: ~6
ppm: 200 (will be bumping up after I change the reservoir in a day or so)
res. temp.: 69*F
RH: 55

Just something I noticed is the aluminium foil? I did that too when I started but then I read something about the plant thinking there's other plants underneath it trying to grow higher then her so she'll stretch and grow quite lanky.

It does really make a difference I noticed that she stopped stretching by a lot when I removed it.

I was actually thinking about their height when I was doing my res. change. I was thinking how much of a bitch it is going to be for me once they are fully stretched and I have to maneuver them and myself in the box to do any maintenance. I put the foil down mostly because my previous lights were garbage and the reservoir top is matte black; now that I have this flood light, I will probably take your advice and strip the foil. Also, I think I'm gonna set up a ScrOG.

One month update:

The girls are still kickin. I've got a few Mephisto beans patiently waiting for their turn on the bubbleponic express. Ambient temps have been ~30*C, so I've been in constant struggle with keeping the reservoir temperature down. The 80mm fan and occasional frozen 1L bottle help to keep it around 25*C.

Got one preliminary Sour Crack germinated within 24hrs using the paper towel method. I'll post some pics of that when she pops her head out of the ground.

Had a slight Cal deficiency, but we are on the up and up I think. Anyways, here are the girls.

Quick update:

Girl in the back corner is starting to flower! The others ladies are certainly picking up the pace. Keeping PPM around 600 and pH is staying around 6.3. The waiting continues...
