Hi Lykaboss, I took a look over at the Dyna-Grow website. Would you mind listing their products that you use and in what amounts? I did not find a feed schedule at the Dyna-Grow site. I'm digging their one part formula Grow and Bloom nutes. Having to use 5-6 products during each stage of the grow has been my only complaint about Technaflora's nute line I'm currently using. I'd love to simplify. Also does silica do anything but strengthen the plants? I haven't used it but I don't have the space to LST. Thanks!

The owner of Dyna Gro sent me this chart, so its accurate. Also what i have noticed... is i have not had to "dial back" the nutes much at all, If it says 10 mls i go 8 mls. Just to be on the safe side, but now doing into week 3 of flower i am hitting them at full strength and they LOVE it. ONe thing i noticed is the nutrient solution using dyna-gro, compost tea and mendo avalanche is extremely stable. It is highly unlikly i will never change up my nutes again.

Silica is a MUST have for any grower in my opinion, not only does it strengthen/harden the plant, it helps make it resistant to pest and molds, its not a CURE ALL but its a great way to buffer/prevent future issues, I hit my plants hard with silica once into the 2nd week of veg all the way into 8 weeks of flower. ALso silica can add some protection to your root zone along with the use of a compost tea. Pro-Tek from Dyna Gro is an excellent Silica. Hence the name "Pro-Tek / Protection"

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try the Dyna-Grow as soon as I burn through the nutes I am currently using but I'm going to order some silica today. :tiphat:

One bottle of Pro-TeKt on the way! I'm really intrigued by the one part base nutes. Have you tried growing with just the Foliage and Bloom? Do you know why they just don't put their additives into their main products? Peace

NIce good choice on the Pro-tek, amazing stuff, To your other question i have not tried ONLY using the foliage pro and bloom, i use the entire line which really isn't alot of bottles. I have talked to them a few times but can't remember everything they said, they been in business now for i think 30 years, the guy on i talked to on the phone was a full on hydro guy, he did DWC for almost 20 years. You should give them a call, they will answer any questions you have about the line up, also they ain't afraid to send out samples

not really, i don't monitor my res temps that much since i always keep a beneficial tea going (root assist tea), but the highest i seen it go was 78f with no problems... Normally when i mix up a new batch of nutes water is 68f then during the end of the week when it comes time to dump it... its around 73f. Them buckets hold 12 gallons of water also i added a layer of reflectix to help insulate which helps. my grow room stays around 80f.
