New Grower Dutch Passion autos under 200w LED

The lower secondary colas need the light . have you read about leaf tucking? its just tucking it downward and behind lower growth .

On the sunrise some of the larger fan leaves are overshadowing pistils, should I just let her do her thing and grow naturally, or try to expose the pistils somehow?

Tugging big fan leaves behind new shots is always a good thing :d5:, u want to get any potential bud sites the most light as possible.. fan leaves are only good for photosynthies

I hope you dont mind me dropping a pic here shows the cardboard and insulation squares. sometimes scrap can be found

brother you have got it going on! thems gonna be some sweet warm roots. i love that set up. im a new indoor grower so its easy to miss out on little details like these.

could i be cheeky and ask you about your water bubbling away there? is that for feeding or is it something to do with increasing humidity? sorry for what might seem like a dumb question.

thanks Sir Dudeski

Aerates the water for increasing oxygen the plants take in while drinking . i was told it was necessary so i do it. just use a cheap aquarium pump and air stone

Day 33

Yo! sorry for being quiet, this week has been manic. So here are the girls. They are now drinking 400ml daily with no run off. I reintroduced cookies to nutes on Thursday and she seems to have taken them well and not shown any signs of burn. Both plants are receiving Sensi Bloom A&B at 2ml per L.

The growth is explosive at the moment especially with the sunrise. I feel glad I only went for two plants I couldn't imagine 4 in there. The sunrise is starting to literally cast shade over the cookies, its leaves are coming over to her pot. I have made sure the leaves are not blocking any of the bud sites on the cookies from receiving light. As the plants get bigger is there a rule of thumb with space between pots? Is it bad for them to be creeping over interfering?

Having to raise the lights every other day to keep at 25". Tomorrow I am gonna get some insulation for the bottom of the tent to keep those roots warm :)

I think everything is going ok, no problems to report...I think :pass:

Have a nice weekend.

Looking good @Mangos

I hope your ready for them to go nuts, if they haven't started already. It is good to try and keep your plants from shading each other. I always rotate mine around twice a day with an eye towards getting the most light to the intertwined branches.

I would encourage you to start watering to run off now. Just pour some in wait awhile and pour in some more, repeat until you get 10-20℅ each time you water. It will get fresh air to your roots and keep you from building up salts.

If you do that you will need to water by weight and will likely do it a day or two less often.

Day 34

Morning chaps,

Gave the girls a good soaking last night the first time i've watered till run off. Pots feel super heavy don't think they will need another watering till tomorrow.

I have noticed a few holes in one of the leaves on the sunrise, looks like something has had a munch :( what you guys think?

Well if that is some kind of bug, I don't think it's a Canna specific one. I don't think you have anything to worry about there.
