Dragon Meds Durty dragon + dragon mix grow

back after a long break from growing i bought a new smaller tent (budbox 75cm x 75cm x 100cm) to celebrate.

im growing 5 DD and 5 of the dragon mix. this will be my first attempt at breeding, hoping to make some more duurty seeds.
planted into peat pucks and left in a bathroom for the first few days (hence the stretch) all up withing 3 days.
theyre now under a 400watt MH. squeezed a 6 inch cooltube into this tent and it seems to be working well.
im hoping they stay small enough but i can switch up to a 1mx1mx2m tent with a 600watt hps if/when needed.

Day 18

starting to take off now, the mix freebies are all a little bigger so far durrtys look shorter and more indica.



one of the mix has a strange leaf. 6 fingered with a little growth where the 7th should be. looks a bit like a nanner.

What size buckets are those? Looks like its going to be a tight fit Must be a big pain to water

hey sauce, theyre pretty small pots id guess around 1-2gal max. i might transplant but dont mind keeping them small this grow.
im gonna kill a few once i can sex them.

im thinking 5 or so females and the nicest male can live in my bathroom till his jobs done(if i get any).
ive been holding a funnel to the soil and watering that way out of lazyness. too many to move around too often.

all showing sex now bar maybe one, noticed the first few males and one female the day after the last post.
got a male and female DD and a few of each in the mixed seeds.
must get reading up on pollen collection/picking males and all that jazz.

getting cramped in there now,
ive got 3 females and 6 males so im gonna kill a few males and repot the females in the next few days, roots are coming out the bottom looking for more room.
hoping for a few more females but atleast i have one Durrty for some seed, so far its looking a little small.

Day 39
bit late on the update, day or two after the last post i transplanted the females(minus the runt) to 5 gal buckets i had from last grow.
ran out of the soil i had mixed up before so one has a different soil.all were pretty rootbound but transplant hasnt seemed to slow them atall. a lot of growth since the last pics. i killed all the males except for the nicest looking duurty dragon. hes been sitting in my bathroom a bit neglected popping out lots of pollen pods. seems to be going a bit purple too which would be great. guessing i should wait a bit to pollenate the females, when is ideal? i read that you want 4-6 weeks from pollenation to get viable seeds im thinking of dusting them in a week or two might be too early though. the male is looking a bit hungry ive upped the nutes on all of them, first strong feed tonight. before now just half strength or lower no problems so far.
theres been a fair bit of stretch due to the crowding but not too bad.

the tent is at capacity now with the cooltube zip tied to the roof as high as possible, i wanna stay in this tent this grow so its lst from here on out.

also worryingly ive found spidermites elsewhere in my house. im praying to the canna gods that they dont find the plants..
never had to deal with them before and i dont want to :no:.

5 ♀ this one nearly reached the light so i had to tie down its main cola a few nights back.


Durrty Dragon
1 ♀ this one was definitely a runt so i didnt bother re-potting it. its not the healthiest but its the first one to start going purple. just the calyxes so far.

2 ♂this was the nicest male. since then hes been a bit neglected and got a bit pale coming back to green now and possibly purple unless its just more symptoms of a deficiency.

3 ♂ RIP

4 ♀? this one turned out to be a female, spotted some pistils a day or two after the last post. handy since the only other female DD was a runt.

the male wasnt turning purple, seems to be dying. all new growth is shriveling while fan leaves seem ok for now. hoping it has another burst of growth but it may be done. as a last ditch attempt for seeds i picked off any pollen pods that looked alright and dusted a few lower branches on the DD4 female. hopefully they take but seems a bit early maybe. worth a shot anyway. proper attempt at breeding might have to wait till next time.
