Indoor Duckster gives Wilma a go

Nice to see your still growing mate. Good luck with the muck

Good to see you around Woody. I assumed yer last harvest was so vast that you were taking a little break, but who knows in these times eh. Are you getting ready to get your grow on?

A woman, cranky because her husband was late coming home again, decided
to leave a note, saying, "I've had enough and have left you...don't
bother coming after me”.

Then she hid under the bed to see his reaction.

After a short while, the husband comes home and she could hear him in
the kitchen before he comes into the bedroom. She could see him walk
towards the dresser and pick up the note.

After a few minutes, he wrote something on it before picking up the
phone and calling someone.

"She's finally gone...yeah I know, it is about time, I'm coming to see
you, put on that sexy French nightie. I love you...can't wait to see
you...we'll do all the naughty things you like.”

He hung up, grabbed his keys, and left.

She heard the car drive off as she came out from under the bed, seething
with rage and with tears in her eyes. She grabbed the note to see what
he wrote.

"I can see your feet. We're outta bread; be back in five minutes.”

Been a crazy year so far! Covid, social/political unrest, and a very active hurricane season. We were in the forecasted path of seven storms this year so lots of time spent on storm prep.
#1 First we had TS Christobal in early June. That one passed about 20 miles to my east but luckily only tropical storm - some nasty weather but I didn't lose power.
#2 In July TS Fay formed to our south but drifted off to the east.
At the end of August we had two storms heading in our direction. I bought a new generator as I figured at least one of the storms would knock out our power. #3 First was cat 1 hurricane Marco. That one fell apart just before landfall to our south. Most of the nasty weather was well to our east and I did not lose power.
#4 A few days later it was cat 4 hurricane Laura. The track gradually shifted to the west with landfall 180 miles to our west. Most of the nasty weather was to our west and I did not lose power.
#5 In the middle of September it was cat 2 hurricane Sally. This one was head straight for us but made an abrupt right turn about 18 hours before landfall so it came ashore 150 miles to our east. Most of the nasty weather was to our east and I did not lose power.
#6 Early October brought cat 3 hurricane Delta. The track on this one shifted to the west to near where Laura made landfall about 170 miles to our west. Most of the nasty weather was to our west and I did not lose power.
#7 The end of October brought cat 3 hurricane Zeta. This one was a direct hit. It was forecast to maybe get to a weak cat 2 but weaken before landfall. The weakening part didn't happen. It got up to max sustained winds of 111-112mph (weak cat 3). Lots of heavy wind and rain on the front side of the storm. I lost power about 2 hours before the eye reached us. We were in the eye for about 30 minutes and I used that time to get the generator going and do a quick damage survey. Then came the backside, lots of heavy wind but not much rain. Lucky this was a fast moving storm as the time at 100mph+ sustained winds was minimized.

Been a bit since I've updated on the girls. They seem fine after a bit of sporadic lighting last week. I lost power for a couple of days and I was running the generator on 6hr duty cycles so the didn't get their usual 18/6 light schedule.
