My first attempt a vaping weed e-juice did not end well. I put 1g of Blue Dream wax and 2cc of unflavored Wax Liquidizer in a shot glass and nuked it in the microwave for 10 seconds. Stirred until all of the wax is dissolved. The liquid does thicken a bit as it cools but it does not separate. It makes about 3cc of e-liquid. So far so good.
I got a Vladdin RE refillable pod system. Supposed to be good for vaping weed e-liquid. I filled the pod and about a third of it leaked out the bottom. It's not supposed to leak so that should have been my first warning.
Sucked what liquid I could off the table back into the syringe and licked up the rest. Taste nasty but waste not want not. The pod was about half full and did not seem to be leaking so I put it together with the battery. It had a hard pull like most pods so it took me a minute to get a good hit. But when I did it was amazing. Tasted and smelled like some dank assed weed. Took about 3 good hits and drove to work. I put the pod on my desk in my office and went out to the shop to work on a project. When a workmate arrived I got the pod so he could sample. He said "oh yeah that's nice". I noticed a bit of leaking so I wiped it off and put it back in my office. Another workmate arrived but he went into the office area first. Then he came out to the shop and asked why does it smell like weed in there? I figured it was the pod so I brought it out to the shop and let him try it. He said "wow great hit but I got a little liquid, may I hit it too hard". I noticed a bit more leaking so I wiped it off again and put it on my work bench. A while later he asked if I had a lit joint in my pocket. I looked over at the pod and noticed the light was on. The light is only supposed to come on if the battery is charging or discharging (firing). There is no fire button so the only time it is supposed to fire is when you puff on it. I took the pod off the battery and the connection area was flooded with juice. What a mess. I cleaned everything later and salvaged a bit of the juice. I think the battery is hosed because the light is always lit now. Still got over a cc of juice so I may try to put a bit in one my little e-cig tanks. If nothing else, a drop or two on a 1 hit bowl turns it into a 5 hit bowl and makes for a mighty fine buzz!
