New Grower DSM First Grow. Kind Soil. LED :) Completed

Day 13 update. Everything seems to be alright in the garden. A little concern with controlling my heat while the lights are on. seems to get up to 85* while lights are on. 76ish while they are off. Perhaps theres nothing to worry about? I might try adding some clip on fans to move the air around in the tent to go with my oscalting fan. First feeding of Mammoth P will start tomorrow.

How do the girls look? Wondering when the Strawberry nuggets will start to stretch....

If you do not already have air circulating fans get them ASAP. I run a 16" Hercules and a 6" clip-on in my 4x6x8 space. Good air circulation 24/7 is a must have.

Those temperatures are not ideal 68°F night and 78°F are the target. They are also not the worst, I have grown in 88°F night and 95°F daytime. Your yield and terpene quality drop in high temperatures. Buds get wispy. Hey wispy bud is still miles ahead of no bud

Just to clarify I do have a big oscalting fan inside the tent. But I do agree that I should probably add some more clip on fans to circulate more air through-out the tent

ScreenHunter_202 Aug. 11 17.06.jpg I thought for a minute you did not have any. That said you can have too much also. Sawtooth leaves to burnt crispy can happen with too much wind so don't over do it either. Think Goldilocks.

Think I might of figured out the problem. So my buddy who has the same lights told me to have both light switches on. One is for "Veg and Bloom"... The other is "Stronger" which activates the cob lights and is supposed to be turned on during flowering(according to the manufacturer). My buddy told me it didnt really matter and the plants could take the extra lighting during the seedling/veg stage.....

Now at first I did notice that the plants were developing much faster... I had the lights about 30 inches away from the pots....But what I'm thinking now is, perhaps my buddy gave me some bad information lol. So now I switched the stronger button off, and dropped the lights to 26 inches away. And I'll see how the plants react. I noticed almost an 8 degree difference after a hour, and now the tent is sitting at 76*f while lights are on

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with how I had the lights running before.... but the plants kinda have a whitish green look to them.... if that makes any sense. Before they had a much darker green look.... Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks again for taking your time to help me out.

could be light bleaching  either way, glad to hear it'z stablizing for ya  ppp

Thank you friend :cools:

I need to take my own advice and just be freaking patient with this. Stop trying to make things go faster. I got over the whole, touch and harrass your plants everyday syndrome out of my mind. Which was just as hard as telling myself to stop watering them every day... and let them use up what I gave them lol. :gary:
