New Grower First grow, humbolt caramel cream (8-3-22)

So you'll strip it all at any point in flower as long as they're healthy? But just go hard twice?
I do a lot of leaf tucking and defoliation during veg and early flower but usually strip around the second week of flower and then again at the fourth week of flower. After that the plant slowly stops growing leaves and concentrates more on bud production.

Flowering day idgaf anymore
Well as many of you will know, Im livid. First plant hermied after all that work I put into it. I guess I got more caramel cream seeds coming my way would this be considered an f3 now if the original plant was an f2 or am I understanding that wrong

You're gonna want to toss those seeds since they're gonna be prone to herm going forward and be way more stress then it's worth. You're also gonna have to clean every single inch of the tent and equipment before you plant another seed

Everything that had pollen sacks. Looks like 99% of everything that hermied was branches that grew from nodes after the flip. None of my main branches had any on them its everything I decided to keep to see how these scraggly little branches would produce. Everything I left I just cut. Extremely disappointed right now. Dreams crushed temporarily

Chop chop mf
End of grow

IT IS WHAT IT IS

Goodbye my beautiful baby I wish I could have smoked you. You were beautiful.

thats devastating, just awful luck. This felt it came out of nowhere! Everything seemed to be running smoothly. Well, not much to do but dust yourself off and on to the next one. Best of luck

It did and didnt, some calyx that showed up a week or so ago didnt have that traditional tear drop shape to them but I thought nothing of it. Just maybe didnt form well or something, thought I saw a pistil coming out of a couple I noticed but I was mistaken. Now I gotta figure out what to plant next. Ive got a half assed poll going in the stoner chat if you wanna get in on it. Next grow is going to be a viewers choice if anyone will actually put their 2 cents in.

Grow the autos bud. There's a lot more auto growers around here that will help you along the way. Only really a handful of photo growers. Plus you rarely see autos that herm anymore. And the faster you can run through grows, the faster you learn

I had 1 Gold Leaf Auto plant hermy on me, but I didn't notice 'til she was cured and somebody found seeds in the grinder. There were 3 that survived, sprouted, and produced some primo bud, S1 I suppose. It was just a couple of buds at the bottom of the plant that had seeds, so I assume something hermied above there. Maybe you can start 2 or 3 next run?
