Harvest & Curing drying outdoors

Hello everyone, Does any one have a method for drying outdoor? I dont have a garage or anything to hang the plants in and have to dry outdoors. I was thinking of just stretching a tarp to keep rain off the buds and just hanging under that tarp in the woods. It will be open on all sides for air flow. Has any one ever dried like this? What do you guys think?

Outside might work but you have to keep them out of the sun or strong wind .Most every body drys inside just incase a storm or high winds come up and blow your weed down the road.Why cant you do it inside? It should be dryed slowly preferably in a cool shaded place.

Hey namvet. I have to dry out side because I just live in a small trailer and my kids constantly run from one side to the other all day long. I do have a small building out back but last year I was only able to hang 1 small 4oz plant in there. This year I am growing 10 mi5 witch should all come down with in a few days of eachother and Im also running about 8-10 full size plants. So I'm gonna need a bit of hanging space and my thinking was, Why not try to do it outdoors.

I too am looking for a method of dryIng the buds frOm a guerilla grow. See although I live on California and have a medical recommendation my landlord is employed by the federal government; I can only imagine his reaction if he stopped by and the apartment reeks of a fresh harvest. I'd be fucked with a capital F.

I was also going to suggest a camping tent,
it lets air in and keeps most of the light out,
safe in bad weather and can be hidden in
plain sight.
I do recommend some odor control though,
we dried in a tent,in a shed with a ona block,
and some cheapo air freshners ,ir worked ok
until I unzipped the tent.
I had to be patient and check for mold and such
before daylight for a week strait.

nice suggestion RSV. i would say dry wherever you were growing if that is an option....
