Guys how long should I dry cure if making paste/oil.

Been drying 3days now, how do I detect mould. Finding it hard to keep humidity below 70*C

Thanks

Hmm by what process you making oil/paste ? Need under 62% humidity, that or lots of airflow.
Good luck n keep er lit

could do it wet but chlrofil would be a big factor.but would that mean 2 oz taking into account the 25% wet weight rule.
i think break the buds down small to encourage faster drying.

I chopped up a whole plant and dried in boxes. Takes 7 days for me. Then threw it in the slow cooker with 2lbs of oil. I decarboxylase first for 30 minutes on low in the oven then slow cook for 2 hours.

At 170 degrees F for nearly a day, presuming some fairly constant mixing (such as, from being heated), I would presume all the water (that matters, that enters the oil) will evaporate. And in that context, how dry you get it, as long as 'dry,' won't matter much.

But if I were doing it, I'd dry it completely and may as well decarboxylate at the same time, such as heat at 200-220 degree F for 20-30 minutes.

220F or 220C (425F)?

To achieve this I use an oven thermometer, oven on low and the door slightly open. Like making beef jerky lol
