Steam from frozen for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Spank the tamale with a spoon to loosen the masa from the corn husk. Cut the strings and unroll the tamale like you put it together except backwards.

Wow those look so good. Been a few years since we've made tamales. I was watching people rushing to find supplies at the grocery store yesterday
so they can make them. When driving through town we got a few people setup on the corners selling them out of the trunk of their cars.

Well they are a lot of work but they freeze well and are great on a cold winter night!
 
Christmas Prime rib. (I put this in the wrong thread, this where this belong.)

9 lb PR x 5 min=22.5 mins cook time. Season with kosher salt. Make a compound butter mixture, 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter, 1/2 tsp each of parsley, rosemary, thyme kosher salt and blk pepper. Let sit at room temperature.

Pre heat oven to 500 degrees place roasting pan in middle of oven. Cook @5 min a lb. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR. AFTER THE 22.5 MIN LEAVE DOOR CLOSE FOR 2 HRS THEN TAKE OUT.
 
Smoked Italian Sausage Omelet with Hollendaise on the hash browns also. The Espresso is a Guatemala/Brazil blend roasted almost but not Vienna. Santa brought me Charles Chocolates! Ooh La La!

We have a Honey Baked Ham for the main meal later today.
