I could eat my weight in those!

My wife has a cuisinart food processor, same one for at least 25 years. She makes her cheesecake batter in it! Don't mind sharing her cooking tip.

The old Cuisanart processers set the stage for high end homeowner. I have heard nothing but great stories from people who ya know...used to ACTUALLY COOK. Just like you said, 25 years, running em for 6 hours at a time. Just chewing through stuff like a Stihl MS660 pro chainsaw Sadly, even though I fucking LOVE Cuisanart gear, their newer food processors are not like the old ones... though they still make excellent cookware. I have a badass high end Cuisanart blender that's 20 something years old...thing is a beast. I was specifically looking for that brand once I decided to go hunting....then this little gem popped up and I got -7 regrets. I am in love, especially after reading a ton of reviews for both brands. Never had any issues with KitchenAid either, including a stand mixer that's built like a tank and my knife set. I literally rearranged my kitchen for the new gadget to have a permanent spot on the counter. Needed to be done anyway, it's fresh and streamlined. Hopefully that thing will last another quarter century, it's an essential tool especially once you start using em.

Kitchenaid makes good stuff too! Have their stand mixer, love it too. I will be curious to see how this processor does for you. Her old one won't last forever

We have two Cuisinart food processors a large one and a smaller one. They had a recall on blades at least 20 years old recently and sent us brand new ones sharp as scalpels. We have the Kitchen Aid 6QT stand mixer. The newest edition is a Vita Mix blender with both jars; it is about 10 years old now. We use these tools all of the time.

That's funny, I have exactly the same equipment. Used to have a Ninja Bullet too, those things are pretty cool if you haven't checked them out. Work perfect for grinding up joint makings :smoking: Does your Kitchenaide have the attachment port on the front for a meat grinder? Sorry, I feel the need to inject myself in kitchen talk, always. :bighug:

I'll second the feeling that there's been a drop in Cuisinart quality on some of their more recent stuff. I picked up a combo blender and smaller food processer a while back, and it works OK but just never has had the solidly made feel I would expect from the brand. A few too many really frozen smoothies in the blender and the bearings or something in the blender blade mechanism bound up a little and it always runs tight since.

Thought about getting a newer and bigger food processor, but my housemate has a Ninja blender that can pretty much be used as one for shredding stuff (albeit without the handy feed chute). Picked up the grater and rotary slicer attachment for the Kitchenaid mixer, so got those functions covered. Would be wicked hard to find counter space for it in our tiny kitchen, anyhow.

Grats on the great find on the Kitchenaid processor. Looks like a nicely built tool.

Yes, we have several attachments but they are used very seldom. I have a Weston [HASHTAG]#8[/HASHTAG] meat grinder.

I have an old Puritan that was my great grandmas, but have yet to use it. Maybe someday when I have a farm and some pigs lol

Cooked up a couple pounds of chicken parts today and ran 'em through the Ninja to have packets of about 2 cups of shredded, cooked chicken ready to go in the freezer.

Great to have on hand for lots of quick, easy type dishes to whip up. For example, tonight's fare was some chicken, cheese, and sautéed, seasoned fresh tomato and onion stuffed in some poblano peppers and roasted up with some 'taters and a little hominy on the side.
