Grow Mediums DP Colorado Cookies + Brooklyn Sunrise in Autopots + GN HS1 & Mars Reflector LEDs

I was under the impression that plants grown in coco would be bigger than plants in soil. Maybe some plants dont take to the coco as well as others do. Some might be smaller than you had hoped but they all look great.

I understand the frustration with your first coco grow, I had the same exact issue. I'm switch back to soil for now. I think your girls look solid though, I'm sure they'll pack on some weight soon.

Yeah it sucks, and I'm going back to a coco/soil mix next grow. I feel your pain bro. Apart from their size they do look OK don't they.

Me too. I've been getting excellent results mixing coco with Plagron lightmix, in as much as a 70/30. I thought pure coco would do even better. The small size of my plants is due to the slow start though, so I might have been doing something wrong then. They'll turn out OK though. Thanks Grim ;)

Day 45.

Day 53 update. I've been really busy with renovating my house and my Autopots have been working like a charm. I've been able to leave my plants up to their own devices for a week without checking them

I've tied down the two girls on the left to spread them out and allow maximum penetration of the light. Here's pictures after the LST.

Beautiful plants! :slap:

your problem is definitely not the coco, I'd look elsewhere to improve things. I'd ditch the hydroton in the bottom of the pots also. Even with inadequate lighting, I had 2 Sweet Seeds Green Poison almost fill my 4x4 tent! This is one plant:

Why would airstones/air entrainment raise ph significantly? Just about every DWC grow I've ever seen uses them, why would an auto pot res be any different? ALL forms of air entrainment raised ph to some degree, including falling water. If air is changing things alot, something else is at issue, nutrients, hard water, etc, etc.

why would an airstone make much if any difference
Hi guys, I just received my recirculation pump today. It's supposed to be super quiet and only uses 2.8W. I've decided against using an air stone in my reservoir because it can affect the Ph too much.
