Great thread, have been reading Doc Brix on 420 and very interested in his method. Definitely will be following along. Can I ask where you purchased the kit? I did several searches and could not find ordering information.

Find him on 420mag's forum and PM him. You need 50 posts to PM, so just google "Doc Bud High Brix" and read his QA thread, might be able to post up in that thread and ask him to email you some instructions.

As far as plants go, we're on exactly week 8 since 12/12, thinking I'll consider a look at the Congo during week 11, but she still looks like she's needing some more time.

Edit: water on Saturday, Energy/Brix on Sunday, nothing on Monday, Light distilled H2O misting on Tuesday, Cationic/Stress tonight...gonna see if I can do something to the Congo, she's mid flower.

Did my 2nd Cationic on the 19th, then no water last night. Will water with a tiny dose of transplant tonight and spray with Brix tonight. I'm spraying lightly under the lights, then might actually wake up when the lights go off and spray heavily while they're in the dark...see if going heavy during the dark period yields different/better/worse results. Seeing some droplet burn on the Congo...

I always love to see trail and error or shoot, trial and no error type of grows so i applaude you l_and_s for doing so.

now with that said lol i have heard Doc Bud say to avoid any heavy foliar feeding due to the fact that it lowers brix. only a light but through misting is needed.


oh and this was my 420th post so i gotta say HAPPY 420th post and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES LOW_AND _SLOW

Thanks SGA! I hit 'em fairly light with the Brix, I only mixed up 1/2 cup distilled water and 3ml of solution in a spray bottle, had about half left over and it's a jungle in there, so really just the undersides of the lowers, the undersides of the big fans, and then a light LIGHT mist on the canopy and I was done. Not sure what tonight holds, probably just a very light watering w/some transplant thrown in for good measure.

yeah yeah yeah, this thread sucks, I know....lol. Been keeping to the feed/foliar schedule according to Doc's instructions, so really haven't felt the need to do anything. Once I pushed the "I believe" button, everything became easy. I do Energy or Transplant on alternating feedings, then give the container a day to dry out, then water gently, then feed, then repeat.

Feed - Dry - Water - Feed - Dry - Water...

I spray with Stress whenever I feed and spray Brix every 7 days.

Congo is still pushing pistils and is DARK green and shiny, but will probably come down on the 14th come hell or high water just to make room. The PHT needs the space and is stunting/under developing on the side that is pushed into the corner. On the bright side, it has sort of LST'ed itself for me by having no light exposure over there, and by all means yield will not be an issue with her...she's like a "drunk" cannabis plant, just friggin' growing whever and all over the place. I'll take some more pics before I chop the Congo and once I've had a chance to go in and prune the PHT.
