I am looking at the 32x32 tent with 2-4 auto plants in coco coir in 3 gallon fabric pots. I am looking at the autopots watering system using my own fabric pots in the autopot trays on there.

Do any of you use the fabric pots with the autopot watering system? Do you have problems with roots growing out of the pot even with the copper thing on there?

I don't think autopots were designed to be used with cloth pots. I mean I guess you could but your not trying to air prune in a autopot.
I was reading up on Octopots and that seems alittle more what your talking about.

Goodluck

They make an entire line based on fabric pots.

Yup, see my grow and autopot review. Fabric pots work perfectly with autopots. And you don’t want or need a hydroton layer or air dome for healthy root development. Just use 60/40 coco/perlite and call it done. If you get the nutes dialed, the autopot/smart pot combo will grow monsters. Good luck with the grow. :pighug:

Autopot the company makes a line of autopots that is based on and comes with smart pots the standard black fabric pot. 5 gallon I believe.
Thank you very much. I didn't know that.

Oh, and in a 32x32, you will only want two plants max with autopot/3gal fabric combo unless the strains are small. If you do a big strain, you may want to go with a single pot.

Thanks. Do you think the fabric pots are better with autopots than the plastic pots on there? I am looking at the perpetual harvest with 2 plants put in at a time a few weeks apart to where you could harvest 2 plants every like 6 weeks then only 2 plants would be large in the tent while 2 plants are in veg which I would think would then fit in the tent on there.

Haven’t tried the plastic pots, so I can’t compare. Others do well with them though, so they work if you get the setup right. I will stick with fabric after the success of my grow, unless I go with a bunch of small pots in a single tray at some point.
