Harvest & Curing Do they work? Not sure if my expectations are correct

well wished i had taken the advice above about letting the bags do it stuff.
After opening the bags as i mentioned above grab a few sample nugs i threw it in a new grove bag with a boveda 62% to raise the humidity as i mentioned above i had initially overdried it. After two days i removed it and the hygrometer and sealed it up but didn't observe any noticeable smell like before but i thought it was just how it was recently opened and not properly sealed.
Today, two weeks after, i checked on it as its a month an time to jar up for easy smoking access and it has lost quite a lot of the smell and has a hay like smell; smoke is still good though but burns quick due to the overdry.
I had some nugs in a gerber baby food jar, those who have kids know these jars don't seal good, from initial opening and the difference between before and after boveda is like night and day.
Stick to bag, trust the bag, jar if you must, but imho stay away from those boveda packs!

I do it regularly if I think the harvest got over-dried during the drying process and I have been happy with the results. No reason not to do it that I am aware of other than it's not necessary unless the bud is on the dry side. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
