Is it the same compound in radishes that makes them "hot" as in peppers?

I love a good "hot" radish... and love it even better when an unsuspecting person plows into one not knowing there hot...

55 gallon Tomato Barrel

Last year were watering twice a day, everyday in the 100 plus degree heat, and we were still barely keeping things alive. Very time and labor intensive.

So I built the first barrel late last summer, and tested it by growing potatoes in it. We only had to water it once every 30 days.

Plus there is no tilling and no weeds. And one 55-gallon barrel equals a 15-foot row!

Each barrel is a self-contained passive hydroponics wick system! Each barrel is a self-contained self-watering container!

The 30 gallon barrels have an 8-gallon water reservoir in the bottom and the 55 gallon barrels have a 15-gallon reservoir.
