I got the filter working but temps were too high, the hydro store guy had a spent carbon filter(6 months use) that he gave me to test with

It is def less restrictive to airflow than the diy one even though it's much bigger


Right now I'm working on a silencing box that I will put the fans into and have them blowing into the filter, then I'll duct to that box

i dropped the bottom drawer down about 5cm to get some more room and put in the support beams( a bit crooked0 to put the pot on, the light trap will go underneath.


I have a SST-FM121(http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=118) for exhaust and will do a pancake style carbon scrubber.

Lighting will be DIY led ( i have a ton of older tech so ill throw it in here, PPFD will be at around 800 and thats gonna take around 60w to get there.)

medium will be plagron promix fertilised with worm hummus and supermix additives. I also have some chelated iron, calcium carbonate and magnesium sulphate(DIY calmag =D) and potassium sulphate for a bloom boost if needed.


Thinking of running polarlight #2 from dutch passion or Haze Automatic by Dinefem, what do you think?

Nice diy job man. I hope you get it running smoothly soon. I'm still ironing out the kinks in my first build and grow too.
I have a small inline fan, 3 pc fans and a small submersible pump in my cab and when its all closed up it puts out 27/30dBA. My laptop running in a quiet room is 24dBA. I have a bit more space to work with, so I could encase the inline fan in a thick mdf box and it works really well. Maybe you could put another small piece of furniture on top of your cab to house it inconspicuously or something?

Leaves lookin crispy, at first i figured it was the LED because they have built in optics and the recommended hanging distance is 30cm, I have about 25cm between soil and lights. Could have been hot soil, probably also because of the heat when i put her in the box. in any case the new growth looks fine so im not gonna worry.

watered with 1/4 tsp of epsom salts dissolved in

running all 9 chips at 52W now( 34.6 watts per sq ft)
temps: 23-29c
