thanks for your interest, Im working on the carbon filter now- I cant find any tutorials on flat scrubbers, most of the diy ones immitate the prefab ones which just wont fit in my box without taking headroom or blocking light

I need it to be no longer than 9cm

today i picked up some pvc so hopefully will have it rigged up in the next few days, after that I will install the electrical and then calk and paint

he plan is to germinate in jiffy pellets into those degradable coco pots lined with plagron batt mix then directly into 6 litres of batmix

Ive got a screen set up that ill show in the next update too

stay tuned as im posting all the builds in the begginig few posts

If you're going to use jiffy peat pellets, don't put them into the degradable coco pots, then into the 6 litre container. Either plant directly into pellet, let it grow out a bit, then into the 6 litre, or directly into the coco pot and then into the 6 litre. It'll slow growth further if you go from jiffy to coco pot, to 6 litre

Ok t

Originally was thinking to not use the jiffy but I fear the bat mix will be too hot for babies

So was going to bury the jiffy in the bat mix in the pot but may just use the coco mixed with batmix to lower ec and have that in the pot?

well it seems the edit option expires after some time?

anyway more building
finished the filter-not too sure about it though because i realised that i didnt get activated carbon just normal filter carbon:yoinks:
I used a pvc end cap i drilled out on one end and a frame from a dead pc fan on the other(to bolt the fan onto easily)
still needs a little tape and glue and testing but its 9cm long so will fit in the cab(7cm of carbon)
also teh fan i ordered is not happening(long story) so instead ive ordered 2 of these

hopefully 4,55 mmH²O is enough here

my filter doesnt seem to be working proper
i repacked it several times cut it down a bit n still not too good

i prob should have just bought a can lite to be honest

Have I packed the carbon too tightly?

Anyone?

Can't comment on the carbon filter - I'm hoping to vent out my cabinet grow to the outside world thru either the window (shortest route) or an unused chimney which still has a decent 'draw'. But I'm pulling up a chair to watch this one. I thought my grow space was small but that space is bedside cabinet dimensions. I'm also planning to LST/SCROG also (my first indoor grow), so will be interesting to compare.

My cab is here https://www.autoflower.org/threads/first-indoor-cfls-mephistos-scrog-lst.51824/
