Indoor db003 is back! first auto grow of 2023.

hello everyone

just gave my plants there first watering. they look to be doing fine in there new environment. its only been a few days but so far so good.

when I built my new gaming computer a few months ago I lost the data transfer cable to my nikon d3300 camera so no pictures for now till I get a new one. I used my cell phone to take the first pics but its a bit of a pain to upload the pics.

hey everyone its me db003.

today is the end of the week one for these clones. I just gave them a watering right now with some plain tap water. I would say it was about a half of a gallon of water split between both of them.

I can see a small amount of growth and they look to be doing fine so off to a good start for this grow.

Hey everyone, it's time for an update!

It's been a little over a week since my last update, and the plants are doing just fine and showing lots of growth. I just gave them another watering since it has been on the cooler side and I have only had to water them twice in the past week.

hello everyone its me db003 back with another update!

these clones are in day #21 of the vegetative stage or the beginning of week 3 and still have a long way to go. I just watered them with plain tap water and also did some low stress training on them.

I find it a lot easier to begin training on plants while there still young and pliable to keep these plants low to encourage them to grow out wide. since I will be adding a net over these plants once they are big enough to get transplanted to there flowering pots later down the line.

I took some before and after pictures so you could get a idea of what I did.

now for a laugh. when I was training the plants I noticed the name Londonchello and immediately thought. Londonchello is falling down, Falling down, falling down. Londonchello is falling down, My fair lady,
:rofl::crying:

Hello, this is db003, and I'm back with another update on this not-so-autoflower-grow. still need to reach out to a mod to change my grow journal name but keep forgetting.

I just watered these photoperiod plants; they are in day #25 of the vegetative stage. I just wanted to show a bit of progress since I did some low stress training on these plants in my last update.

So far, so good. These plants are just doing their thing; they still have a long way to go.

Hey everyone, back with another update.

I just finished dousing these plants with plain tap water, as I always do. These plants are growing and will be separated when I water them again. I plan to transplant them in the next few weeks to their final pots once they get a bit bigger. then I will install my net, but I wanted to wait as long as I could for these plants to get bigger in these 3-gallon pots before they were transplanted.

still need to do some more low-stress training on them as well.

How big of a pot are they going into? 3gal is pretty decent. And separated? Each getting their own space eh?

Sorry for the confusion. I will be moving up to 7-gallon fabric pots for flower when I transplant them. I was just going to move them apart since they are close to each other. right now and are both using my cloning tray as a plant saucer. I was just going to move them apart and give them there own plant saucer.

Hello everyone, it's me, db003, back with another update!

I was looking at the plants and saw that the roots had started growing outside of the fabric pots, so I decided to take this grow to the next stage. These plants have been transplanted into their final pots, where they will flower out in, but for the time being they will remain in veg to fill out the tent.

They were transplanted into 7-gallon fabric pots. I mixed in about 4 cups of dry amendments in the soil and mixed it up before the plants were transplanted. I used 2 cups of Dr. Earth organic and natural homegrown tomato, vegetable, and herb fertilizer 4-6-3. I also added two cups of Down to Earth Rose and Flower Mix 4-8-4. Next, I installed the trellis netting that I will be using to train the plants as they continue to veg.

I only had a few problems, but they were small ones, like when I accidentally cut off one of the tips of a branch when I was trimming some of the big suckers to get more light on the smaller branches so they would grow out more. I was going to tape it up because that has worked in the past, but not always. It was pretty mangled, so I just cut it off and tossed it in a root-riot cube and put it in my cloning tray.

The first two pictures were taken before the transplant and trim. They both got some water, so I will watch them over the next few days to see how they are doing, and hopefully they won't have any transplant shock.

these plants are in day #39 of veg today.
