New Grower Dinafem White Widow Auto - Soil/270w LED

 I am growing in the presence of greatness here.

<blushing red> Awww you guys are awesome, thanks. Does anyone else sing or talk to their plants when working with them? Im not afraid to admit I do. Its a living plant! Who knows if it works. Studies have been done before about that. It was even on a mythbusters episode. They sectioned off parts of a green house and did an experiment. One group yelled at them and was angry, another talked and sang nicely and then the last group nothing. It showed more growth and vigor in the one they sang and talked in. Haha!

Peace guys, more to follow. I will post all the way through. Flower,Flush,Harvest, Cure.

Your tent is filling quite nicely Briar  I definitely talk to my plants they are my babies

Thanks for stopping by Gogi! Yes I must admit I gave them a lot of attention, I had to - Last grow I had spider mites:cuss: and I was NOT pro active enough and determined, this time around I was spritzing the top and bottom of leaves every three days with Calicleaner Habanero spray to be safe. This time around I alternated with caliclean mixed with small doses of pro tekt, and neem/dr. bronners peppermint.

I think they got to the point where anything left in there that had a nibble couldn't stand it. Between burning mouthparts and neem, I don't think they were too interested. If I had just sat back and let it go by itself, rest assured I would have mite damage EVERYWHERE with speckling and brown and yellow crispy leaves. Never Again. F*ck Spider Mites. I refused to take the avenue of floramite sc, forbid f4, or avid. I didn't want to pay ridiculous prices for mighty wash, so I hit the web searching for tried and true remedies. I would say the neem and caliclean are less invasive, and Im not paranoid about what I am smoking afterwards.

I will keep up with the updates. The tent is maxxed out. Definetly bushy as could be. I think for my small tent setup I really need to research maybe less bushier strains, maybe more single cola dominant with just a few side branches instead.

I will say one thing that caught my attention were the multiport grows. I have a 12 pack of Crazy X Mossys Jem, Secret Garden Seeds Pink Salad, and AutoMazar. I was thinking maybe giving the Jems a go - a bunch to a big pot, maybe run 2 pots in there.

Peace,

Blackbriar :D

Check this out. Might give you an idea or two... https://www.autoflower.org/f5/down-muddys-farm-8574.html

I am reading through this right now, I am thinking of giving this a shot, Thanks Noods

On another note, after watching that video clip, I read alot about Plant Perception, and whether or not plants can feel. While they do not have a brain per say, they do communicate with signals and it seems plants respond to Stimulus or our own energy. We know plants can be aggressive and have somewhat of a memory, but they cannot feel pain physically the way we do as humans. They do have purpose though, and can be territorial as they grow.

I found out about a commune in Northern Italy called Damanhur. It is very unique. From their site:

"Damanhur, is an eco-society based on ethical and spiritual values, awarded by an agency of the United Nations as a model for a sustainable future. "
A community in Italy called Damanhur is doing in-depth research with plants and trees by monitoring the vibratory resonance of the plant whose electrical impulses are registered through an electronic device that is connected to a synthesizer. The plants and trees learn to work with the machines and then begin to produce intricately beautiful musical pieces. One particular Avocado tree has become a master musician and teaches other plants to “sing”.

Plants are looking great bro. I just finished a grow of the photo Dinafem White Widow and it looked identical to yours, nice and bushy. I got about 2 zips dried and cured off of it but that was because I did a lot of pruning on her because she was so bushy. I probably could have gotten more if I hadn't got so happy with the shears. Since it wasn't an auto I didn't take any pics to share.

DAY 55 (SINCE PLANTING SEED) - DINAFEM WHITE WIDOW AUTO

Greetings everyone! Thank you for coming by :D

I have been busy at work due to some lineup changes, but wanted to stop by and post and update. They are looking nice and happy, I took a few pics inside the tent, and outside the tent in the tub where they get watered/fed.

They have really grown upwards a lot in the last week or so, they are very sweet and stinky smelling. I have been very happy with what Dinafem has to offer, it has been a really fun grow. So enough talking, heres the photos!
