Dinafem dinafem critical 2.0/ T5 / coco /ebb n' flow Scrog

Day 31 from seed.... here is the scoop. Did complete rez change out this morning. Added full strength nutes according to cutting edge feed chart, transition feeding for two weeks then onto bloom nutes. I also added in some G-Rex, a whole 2 oz bottle. Also cleaned the 4 airstones that live in the rez.
Water temp 57.6, E.c reading 3.333, P.h 4.3 (I will not adjust for a few days per cutting edge guidlines) Room temp 70, and Room Humidity 53. All in all girls lookin great started tucking tops back under the screen this morning and gently directing them where I want them to grow.

Algae issue is under control...I hope. What roots I have seen, sides of table, and just under the surface, are white an hairy.
That's it for now!
Keep on growing :smokebuds:

I've known people who think ph doesn't matter nearly as much as folks say it does, and then there are others who insist it needs to be spot on or close to it all the time for healthy plants. Not familiar with cutting edge nutes, do they give an explanation as to why they recommend this? Anyway, glad to see your girls are doing good, I'm chopping mine down, one by one. One or more plants a week to chop for the next 5 weeks, and just got my seed order from the attitude today, going to start 10 AK-49 auto seeds in the next few days, along with a dinafem Original Amnesia auto, a NL x Big Bud auto and three A Little Kushy auto from Freedom of Seeds. This time, I plan to finish every plant in the crop in >90 days. No improper propagation, stunting, overfeeding or root rot this time around, these plants are gonna EXPLODE out of the gate! I have the feeling a similar explosion is imminent for your lovely ladies, excited to see how they do, and pleased to see they've made so much progress since the last time I checked in.

Thanks Auto! They don't recommend a low p.h, they say there will be a false reading essentially when you first mix the rez because of the chelation in there micro nutes. It raises up or to say reads great in a day or two. Check um out their workin great. You definetly have your hands full.

these are pics from yesterday....5W day 35 20131031_063310[1].jpg20131031_063333[1].jpg20131031_063340[1].jpg20131031_063407[1].jpg
Still feeding heavy, every other day. I will be tucking under the scrogg til sunday then I'll let them go to do their thing. 12 more days on transitional veg nutes then on to bloom for 4-6 weeks.
loads of bud sites all over. tops are already budding.I'll get some pics of those up shortly.

Best thing I can think is some kind of light block, the hydroton might be the ticket

No more visible algae. Funny how a dense canopy can cut out algae. Never did put down a layer of hydroton.
Thanks Auto, glad you like the show!

Pic 1 and 2 are left and right side of table, Pic 3 is back corner view and Pic 4 is a front view showing height
I have been following the life-cycle chart and I have definitely seen growth slowing down. Thank goodness, cause I am running out of Scrog. 9sq m fills up fast with 5 plants.
Will be flushing and switching to bloom nutes Sunday. No more algae seen!
Okay think that is it for the update.
Lights are noy always that high up. raised for maitanence and photo op. Normally they are maybe 2 in away.

Question to coco growers. How do you all flush out salt build up in coco????

Dude I am so jealous right now, you have no idea. My thread (my family's first DWC) that I had just updated is shown just below your thread so I decided to check it out. You rock for that scrog setup and that is going to be my next project. My concern has always been this, How hard is it to get to the middle to tuck the plants properly? It looks like your doing one hell of a job, but I've always been worried because of height constraints of the auto's. Is it simply easy enough to tuck from the top side of the scrog? My sketches for our next grow are almost like yours accept mine will be 4 foot by maybe 6 foot with a table. You have truly inspired me, thank you and happy growing!
