New Grower Dinafem Blue Cheese Auto

alright all, quick day 23 update for all of you. temps are at 25c and rh is at 35%. this thing sure is a grower. real change every couple days so far. loving it! heres some pics. do you guys think i should chop the 4 large fan leaves or leave them on a bit longer?
ive also noticed this plant seems to so be a really light feeder. ive only been running .5ml/l so far with the nutes and there appears to be no sign of mal nutrition as of yet. im debating if i should unmp it up to 1ml/l but things are looking so green and lush perhaps i should wait?

She looks good as she is:headbang:....she will let you know if she needs more :vibe::vibe:....if it were my plant, I would only take the top 2 leaves that are shading the new growth tips........but thats me:smiley1:

as long as airflow under the canopy is good which at that stage shouldn’t be a problem i would only remove leaves that are a) touching each other when young and will just be pointless to let grow, or b) if i need to expose lower growth to light to encourage upward growth instead of letting the shutes look for the light outwards.

Still man she looks good.
Just ideally you don’t want to remove too many fan leaves as they’re not just used for photosynthesis, they also have huge stomata when full grown that breath and uptake foliar applications way better than younger leaves. They’re also used for storing energy and best to let those lower fan leaves tell you what she need to eat rather than newer growth.

Loving the shape of your plant though man, i reckon she’s gonna take off soon! :growing:

i unped her up to 1ml/l today, just to see.if she can take it. if i notice any tip burn then ill back off. just trying to find that happy medium for maximum growth energy. but its looking really good so far. growing strong :)

yeah im trying not to take to much, this thing grows huge leaves. so im struggling with the thought of do i let these leaves continue to grow huge or take some of them to put more energy into branch growth. but ill leave them for the time being since there not in the way. might snip a finger or two off each just for the heck of it. but ill give it a little longer. since light can still get to everything right now.

yeah so far the new side branching is open to lots of light and everything still growing strong. definite gains in growth daily can be easily seen. right now im just letting her grow, by thursday i should be ready to tie down the new side branches to grow out horizontally a bit. but after that then the majority of the training is complete and its just a matter of taking a few leaves now and again and letting her grow. ill be sure to update this with new pics when i do the next tie down. so im guessing ill be looking at 6 main colas not including any new side branching that comes off the main one on each side. heres hoping for a great display in the days and weeks to come. i cant believe its already 25 days since it popped the soil. man time flys by. if this strain is pretty true to its harvest time, then harvest isnt technically all that far away.
