Dinafem Dinafem Blue Amnesia XXL & White Widow XXL

These were the first seeds I purchased back around the time when I started reading this forum. I was at the beginning of my first grow (a photo-period) and was on the search for a wealth of knowledge. I stumbled upon AFN and remember drooling over photo after photo of huge auto's grown by the members here by a producer I had never heard of. To be fair I didn't know more than a few seed companies at that time, however, one thing stood out and that was the fact that the biggest and baddest looking plants to my eye held the label of Dinafem. It was within days that I had placed an order and had these in my hands.

With the utmost anticipation I embark on my first Dinafem grow.

Here are the details

Medium: Promix HP w/ 30% Canna Coco
Lights: HLG 550 V2
Tent: Vivosun 5x5
Container: Vivosun 5G cloth bags
Nutrient Companies:
Green Planet
Advanced Nutrients
Mammoth-P
Real Growers
South Cascade Organics
General Hydroponics

So when I saw the upcoming battles approaching I knew I had to get in on the fun. With so many talented growers on this site the goal is not to win but to make it to the finish line with something I'm proud of.

To germ for this grow I used the toilet paper in the CD case method. Batting 100% so far with this technique I was a bit surprised to see out of 4 beans that the WW had not popped after 48hrs. Everything else had. However, confident it would come around I planted them all at the same time and had faith the WW would come through.

Within 18hrs the Blue Amnesia was the first to surface. 24 hours later came the WW.

Today marks day 5 since what I called day 1(somewhat in between when the 2 came up)

The addition of 30% coco to the Promix is something I haven't tried yet. The thought was to create an even better draining medium without committing all the way to coco. The leaves on the seedlings are a bit lighter than I've sen in the past so they all got a light feed today. Other than that everything seems quite healthy and happy.

A quick photo update, today marks day 8. The Blue Amnesia is doing very well and the White Widow has almost caught up despite the slight slow start. They both seem to have responded well to the feeding from a couple days ago.

So far so good.

Thanks for the comments on the tags. Yes I did make them myself, just threw something together quickly in PS then taped them to these plastic tags I had lying around. Saves me from having to write their names out when posting photos! LOL I'd love to check yours out, bet they look a little more pro

Day 11

Everything is going fairly smooth so far. The Blue Amnesia continues to impress. First time I'm ever had a 2 fingered leaf however. The WW is looking great and I love the Indica leaf shape she is forming. Not much else to say, cheers everyone

Day 17

The Blue Amnesia has broken away and is the clear leader in the tent at the moment. I'm thinking she will be my battle plant however there is still time for that to change. The White Widow is looking great as well, albeit smaller in stature. I am happy to report the 2 Dinafem plants are the best looking plants in my tent...can't say I'm not surprised @Dinafem-Mark

Glad I found this just in the final furlong with a regular White Widow Auto from Dinafem and its a monster so the XXL should blow it out the park[emoji123] looking good dude.
