New Grower Dinafem Auto Amnesia, MarsHydro Reflector grow.

That is all my wife's fault. When we first brought him home from the pound, he had trouble sleeping so she would hold him on her chest and let him sleep. He now truly believes that all furniture is his to enjoy. (including the bed, thank god its a Cal King) Now that he is bigger, (85lbs worth) he can look imposing which is funny because he is such a wiener.

Almost forgot, water/growth observations for this evening. Well I already chronicled some changes I made in the grow area today. And if your following along, you know that I watered this morning, so watering was not an issue at the evening check. However, Amnesia #1 gained another inch today putting her at 21+". So growth continues and I am still waiting to make the full switch from veg nutes to flowering nutes. I have added a small amount of General Organics Bio Bud at the last waterings however. Since I do have forming buds. Amnesia #2 is doing fine and looking healthy, (a few spots on leaves that I am wondering about, but new growth and leaves are looking fantastic)and adding some size, just hasn't really started reaching up yet. Maybe 5" tall so far, big enough for stronger nutes when watering is required.

Water/growth observations for today. I checked the amnesia's this morning and all was well, but as today was a hospital visit day for my wife I didn't have time for the morning update. Amnesia #1 appears to have stopped upward growth, she currently stands at 21.5" and has not gained at all in the last 24 hours. #1 was ready for water tonight as evidenced by dry soil and drooping lower leaves. I used a fresh 1/2 gal of aerated water and added 5ml of BioThrive Bloom, 2.5ml Bio Bud, 2.5ml CaMg, and 2ml molasses. I then watered #1 with 1L of this, until visible runoff. Amnesia #2 was also ready for watering and received 500ml of the veg nutes water as described previously. #2 is filling in nicely and is now almost 7" in height, so it appears that #2 is hitting her stride as far as gaining some height. I will be pleased if she reaches the same height as #1. The Critical 2.0 auto appears to be splitting her shell, so I should have a cracked seed with taproot in the morning and will deal with that in the morning.
One other observation, a little unsettling actually. I noticed a little ball sack down low on the main stem at the second node from the bottom. I found 2 more upon closer inspection. I will give #1 a thorough inspection in the morning.

Water/Growth observations for today. Again, checked plants this morning but damn, actually had to work today. Tonight is bowling nite so I will do this early. Amnesia #1 made a liar out of me, gave it full blown bloom nutes last night and then she up and grew another inch+. She is sitting at 23" right now. I think that since we are into week 6, I will just let her run as is and see if I can't get those buds to fatten up. Amnesia #2 is moving right along. She sits at 7.5" in height right now but has been filling out and gaining structure, so as long as she gains 15" or 16" in the next few weeks I'll be more than pleased. Neither plant required watering since they just received feedings last nite. #1 will need water by tomorrow morning though and #2 will probably be the morning after. The Critical 2.0 auto seed has not cracked as I thought it was, so it remains in its moist, warm paper towel bed in a container on the cable box. So no action there yet.

Water/Growth/Pic observations. Amnesia #1 is now on day 41. Slowly I am seeing buds forming and getting some idea of the potential that this plant has. But I am getting impatient and really wish the buds would swell. I realize that 60-70 days is a benchmark for completion, but I think these may go longer. Or more appropriately, I'm stubborn and if it takes 90 days so be it. I did not measure this morning, but will check later. #1 was ready for watering this morning and received another liter of bloom nutes aerated water. Also a quick update on the "little balls situation". I have removed any that I found and will continue to do so. I have done a little research and do not believe that they are anything to worry about anyways. The plant is obviously female, and I have read numerous accounts of this happening. the balls would not mature and should not produce pollen. The plant is not a hermie as the male reproductive organs would or should be more properly formed. but as stated, I will remove as soon as I identify them and let my plant grow on.
Amnesia #2 is looking GREAT as tony the tiger would say. She is so bushy that it is tough to even get a look at the undercarriage so to speak. As noted yesterday, #2 is at 7.5" in height but it has been a slow steady growth pattern. #2 is on day 30 so should kick into high gear as far as upward growth is concerned. She did not require watering to day. I have noticed that #2's pot is always heavier than #1. So at times it makes determining watering more difficult. Once she finishes and is cut down it will be interesting to see what the difference in root ball is.
Critical 2.0 auto is still in its little bed and I am hopefull that it will pop yet.

looking real good Tag. them bud's will fatten up before you know it. great journal

Thank You ElSam. It is gratifying to see the plants behaving as they should. Although I have dabbled in this in the past, I consider this grow to be me first, as it is the first "educated" grow that I have undertaken. It is amazing what a little learning can do isn't it.

Looking really good mate. My XXL#1 is probably around 35-36 days looks similar but overall your appears more robust and healthy. It's time I get my LED for flower :)
