Indoor Diesel Ryder x White Dwarf F2 to F3 micro breeding.

I'd been meaning to say alright for awhile, Just been a busy boy, wasn't being ignorant. I'll try and find some more pics of them. They were nice man, decent potency and smell. Some pheno's grew a little airy, but huge if that makes sense? I was trying some new soil, and moving house at the time though so it could have been environmental as to how they turned out.

Hope these aren't spoiling your thread but heres some Random RW. Had a few pheno's that were dense compact buds and done in less than 65 days, the others made some crazy colas but took longer and not as compact.
They had a little N toxicity, so that could have influenced them. I liked them though, so good work, and thanks for letting me try them out.

Very nice indeed bud, proud looking buds & don't worry I didn't think you were being ignorant. I might give them a visit again in the near future :)

I would mate if you have time, there's some solid plants in there i'm sure.

Week 5.

Plants have stretched quite a lot in the last week, but seem to be simmering down now as there has been a few nice days.

Outside Fem.

Some new plants. Two of these look like they are males, just waiting on the last one.

Nice and healthy. Sweet. Sheboy (or it boyshe?) looks cool. You think it'll produce some smokeable bud?

Not sure about the bud bit mate, I took a look at her/he today & there's now some male parts in with the female top bud. I'm only doing it to see what happens, so no biggy if not. It has been pumping out bit of pollen, so hopefully the plant beside it has gotten pollinated. Although its a hermie, it is still the smellyest plant I've grown from this batch of seeds and the last. I'm hoping it gives me some real diesel/fruit flavour, even if the genetics are going to be a little screwy.

Week 6.

Update time. My last plant showed as a male, so three out of three males on the last run. I've put another three seeds into soil today, in search of the female for breeding. I've got about another dozen of these seeds to go through in search of the right plant.

Outside fem. A little stretchy, but looks fine otherwise.

Male / Fem Hermie.

Still going, for the moment. Pretty sure it has self pollinated now. I'm thinking about stripping off the male flowers at the bottom, as I only need the top ones for breeding now.

Firstly, really nice thread mate. I hope I can try my hand at micro breeding someday, but right now I have to perfect the basics and I think my setup is a bit too micro.

I knew that fem seeds were made by using female pollen from forced hermie female plants, but I didn't know that a self pollinated male hermie would produce fem seeds... It doesn't make much sense to me, because the way I see it a normal fem'd seed occurs because both of it's parents are female so it has 100% female genetic make up, but surely a self pollinated male hermie would have 100% male genetic make up and therefore only produce male seeds, masculinised seeds so to speak lol. Have I fundamentally misunderstood how these things work? I feel like that might be the case lol.

Lastly, that bud at the start of the thread looks bloody gorgeous and I hope for your sake she smoked as good as she looked. Keep it up mate!

Alright mate, thanks for looking in & for the comments. I hear what you're saying about the male genetics, and I've heard opposing arguments that also sound really good to the passerby (which I am). This is basically the reason why I've kept that plant alive - to prove it to myself if I get some seeds from it. We'll hopefully know in a few weeks, so keep a lookout.

The bud at the start was a decent smoke as well, hopefully I'll have a few more of those in this next batch of seeds. :)

NP mate, glad to hear that was some decent smoke too. I look forward to seeing the results of this experiment!
