Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

You seem to be doing everything right, except.

Stop following the grow chart on Greenleaf.
I can see by your previous grows you do well.
Keep your feeds at 475-600ppm and all will be well.
The calculator is a little rich for my liking.
Is this PPM JUST for the MC or the final PPM of the nutrient mix? :thanks:

The temperature in my grow room is 75-80 degrees I had just watered and pots were all dry. I only water/feed as needed- about every 3 days. I always pick up my pots to feel the weight to decide if watering is needed. The only thing I have changed in my last two grows is MC nutrients. I’m wondering if I’m not getting the mixture right. I used the calculator on GL website. I’m so frustrated as the seeds from ILG are not cheap. I’m attaching pic from some of my past grows over the last 8 years. Almost everything I have learned about growing autos came from this site and the awesome help From several members.
I figured you probably have your environment and watering down after 8 years of growing. But still have to ask just in case.

Next would be what strength of feed and the schedule you are using. Like feed every time or alternating with plain water. Also I think the Fox Farm soils have nutrients pre-charged so you may not even need to add in MC until later down the road. If You want check out my current grow in my signature. I’m using MC v2 and so far only using 2g/gal with a medium that has no additional nutrients.

MC for sure, and other nutes should be the same.
If you're reading anything above 600ppm with any nutes, you're probably over feeding.

I noticed that with GH flora trio in dwc hydro 600 or under was the sweet spot. Same in soil and coco with mega crop I'm learning.

The run rich for anyone’s likening. I never exceed 550ppm.

I'm reusing my soil and coco. I use mega crop nutrients. Can I use a zyme product such as Cannazym to help break down dead roots for reusing the grow mediums? Or wud it not be a good idea to cross nutrient lines cuz I know mega crop is chelated nutrients and not sure about Canna but I have read online that cannazym was the better zyme product. Help please. .

I do like @pop22 and cut the stalk of the previous plant as low into the growing medium as I can and the plant another plant. I don’t worry about it as the bacteria will eventually eat the remaining roots and make a richer growing medium. I do periodically add Recharge or MammothP to my medium.

I been waiting for it to dry out. Remove the stalk and main root ball. Then I break the soil up and then put it back in a pot and replant. Your way sounds like lots less work. Lol . How many times can you reuse your soil or coco like this before discarding?

Oh and I flush the soil first with 0ppm ro water and then use recharge on it. That will be good enough? I feel like breaking up the soil wud make it easier for the roots to go digging through the soil finding there new home.

I just cut out the stump and replant in the hole. I have an old, serrated kitchen knife and I saw close around the stump and leave the majority of the roots. The roots are dense with nutrients and breakdown quickly. Been doing it this way for three years now and it works like a charm!
