Dialing In MEGA CROP for Auto's

I used ro water when I grew hydro. 0ppm and I'd add 150ppm .500 scale of gh calimagic before my base nutrients. I never had any issues at 150ppm. Obviously I'd do half that when they were babies but at week 3 to 4 I'd be at a full 150 ppm of calmag b4 base nutes.
@NorthernLights_420 the following is not flaming or meant to irritate you( ok?)...
150ppm every feed is too much.
149ppm is calcium and the rest is epsom.
Or is it the other way around????
My point being.
Who knows the true ratio in the commercial calmag mixes??
In feeding your plants an overdose of either cal or mag, the plant will respond and not too favourably might I add.
Imagine eating a chocolate cake (every meal), then expected to eat the Rib steak afterwards.

Not being a smart ass or trying to insult you bro.
Just arguing with food for thought.
Cheers G.

The title of this thread is Dialing in MC for autos.
So, I'd like to propose my anecdotal approach to using MC.
Seedlings > zero MC , 40 to 80ppm epsom, ph 6.1 (coco or peat).
Seedlings 2 weeks to 4 weeks> 100ppm MC + 50ppm epsom
Veg ( 4 weeks to harvest) > 400 to 600ppm MC, ph 5.9 to 6.2 (add calmag if leaf issues).

This is not Gods truth!, but works well for me using city water (plus a little vitamin c to neutralize the chlorine)..
I'm sure some will argue different ppm's.
And thats fine, adapt to each plants needs is the proper answer I guess.

I have been experimenting with addition of bud explosion in flower using MC.
The jury is still out if its really needed when you're feeding MC in the 500 to 600ppm range..
I do need to mention my BE dosing was 100-150ppm above the 500ppmMC feed.

I'm not a fan of professing high ppm'$ (note the $)....then flushing.
(I make salves &rubs).
Toke & taste,....what taste???
Lmao  :crying:
great info... but a couple q's...
those ppm are in 0.5 conversion right?
what/how much light are you using?

Yes these numbers are from the 500 scale.
Great question, sorry about not stipulating that in the post :hump:
Lighting: excellent question.
I adapt my feed to how the plant responds.
Meaning, my basic feed remains the same for an outdoor grow or indoors.
When growing indoors, I grow in either a 2x4 or 4x4 tent.
My lights in both tents are MarsHydros (TS1000).
Both lights are set to full output(150watts at the wall).
This equates to about a 500PAR patch at 24 inches from the plant.
I set the lights to 36 inches when seedlings and slowly lower through veg.

Interesting... and have you measured how close have you gotten... like what's the closest you've gotten your lights feeding them at those ppm?

I run a DLI (Daily Light integral) of 72 using only .9 EC of Jacks....ill need to dial in Mega Crop but i'm starting with the same. My plants vary from 35 grams - 350 grams dry per plant using the same feed, sprout to harvest in coco.

I grew in hydro dwc with 0ppm ro water and gh nutes. Calimagic is what I added to 150 ppm .500 scale before my base nutes. When plant were smaller I'd add less but week 4 and up 150 ppm of gh calimagic and never had any problems or deficiencies or nothing. My plants were always healthy green and perky and grew crazy fast and big. I'm not saying every nute line is gonna work like that. That's just what worked for me in dwc hydro using gh nutes.
