Mephisto Genetics Deep Blue C x 2: GO vs Roots Organics

Thanks Mitch! I feel like you guys did the hard work, developing killer genetics and its up to us to just nurture them along. Beautiful and exciting plants to grow!

I love this phase of growth, too, everything is so rapid and explosive!

Here's another update. Shit's getting real now! In full bloom nutes on both plants. Bloom light is on, though they're still gaining a little bit of height.

Here are the ladies together. They are both 53 days old today.

Here is the mutant on the GO nutes. This three cola situation has me pretty f'ing excited.

She's now at about 27 inches tall and well, as you can see, lush as can be! This plant is definitely starting to show some serious frost. The pics don't do it justice. Compared to the Roots plant though, she's more leggy.

Here is the lady on the Roots:

She's about 24 inches tall. She's not quite as frosty yet, but really dense and lots of bud sites around developing nicely. The amount of pistils on both of them . . holy hell, I am amazed.

I had both Phenos over here too. The Smaller Budding one is absolute the one when it comes to Sweetness. Also a lil bit more Uplifiting High The Big Cola Pheno is a dream of Bluesy Cheese hard Couch Knock(i harvested even White not Amber Trichomes) Taste n Smell comes up Quick in cure 2,5 Weeks and you already have some excellent Tasting Buds.

This continue to progress nicely. First an update and then a question. Fed again, moving nicely through both nutrient schedules.

Now, the question: By all accounts these are some seriously lush plants. That said on both plants, I have noticed more die-off of leaves at the bottom of the plant, generally at the very bottom. It has been this way throughout the grow - no color change, just a drying up and dying of some of the fan leaves on the bottom. Given the progress of the rest of the plant, I assume this is all fine and normal, I've just never noticed it on my previous few grows.
