Indoor Dankerson's Fruit Bowl Run

This might be because I'm new to pressing but I'm pressing everything! lol my hand pump for my press will be here Thursday :headbang: I'm smashing everything i have lol minus a few jars for my family
You're gonna love it man! You'll find some strains press better than others. The oilier and frostier the better. If I like something I usually try it out but some strains just don't yeild well.
 
Hey everyone! Sorry for basically abandoning this thread for the last 3 weeks. I have been extremely busy welcoming a new member of the family and acclimating to having a baby again. Very busy around the Dankerson house. Everything's down at this point preparing for a move. Soooo last I checked was when I chopped the Double grape? I'll start there with the pictures. I have a lot as I kept documenting even though I wasn't posting so there will be multiple posts here. First up, the double grape and Lecter post dry photos and weight.

The Lecter turned out to be the largest in the group weight wise. Not a ton of smell to it so far, getting some woody earthy smells, I may have dried it a tad fast and lost some terps. Overall great smoke and a wonderful plant to grow despite my mistakes. Thanks again @Sawney_bean!

Next was the Double Grape. Unfortunately I definitely messed up the dry on this one and it dried way too fast. Think I just bagged it too early and got a hay smell. I get hits on what it should really smell like and it makes me so bummed of what I missed out on. Bud looks amazing and super frosty. Will definitely give it another go when I get a chance.

Shortly after this is when I chopped the Sour Apple, Sapphyre, and Frosted Cherry'Os. All 3 were dried before I chopped the green crack.

The bad news first... Unfortunately I also overdried the Sour Apple a bit. Got a slight hay smell, a little bit of something else but not completely sure yet. Been burping the bag some to try to get rid of it. Will see after the cure, fingers crossed. One of the larger plants of the bunch and looked beautiful. Will give my other bean a go likely.

The Sapphyre was on the lower end weight wise but has a great smell to it, probably the best of the group. Nice sweet berry smell, the cure should help solidify the smell more. Excited to check it out in a month.

The Frosted Cherry'Os looked the worst of the bunch but man does it smoke well, probably one of my early favorites of the group. Will definitely try this one again under better circumstances. Lower end weight wise and I fried it but man does it smell wonderful. Definitely getting a sweet cherry smell.

Lastly was the Green Crack, took awhile but finally was able to chop it. Beautiful purple buds just didn't bulk up as much as I would have liked. Smoke is pretty decent already from what I've tried. I finally figured out whatever weirdness was going on in the dry tent that was causing me to quick dry the others accidentally so the smells on this are much better. Spot on for Green Crack smell from memory. Had a good weight to it as well. Will likely grow this one again in a bigger pot next time. Love the colors!

Final Weights:

Lecter: 60g/2.1oz
Double Grape: 53g/1.9oz
Sour Apple: 56g/2oz
Sapphyre: 35g/1.25oz
Green Crack: 46g/1.6oz
Frosted Cherry'Os: 36g1.3oz

Total weight = 286g/10.2oz

This was definitely not my best run as you can see. Giving up on the dots and will likely switch to testing out living soils as well as coco and DWC when I get setup next. Will definitely still be around but this will be it growing wise for me till later in the year. Appreciate all the follows everyone! Till next time.:pass:
