Putting a clamp around the hose and tent should keep it from ripping further, that might be the ticket!

Have you tried this by chance? I'm a little worried about the hole still getting bigger somehow.

Yes on more than just a tent, just don't make the hole too big. If anything a touch smaller.

Right now I've got an Autoseeds SuckerPunch, a Mephisto SourBubbly, and two AutoSeeds Hijack in one Ecogrower in one tent.
In the other tent, Mephisto Skywalker & StrawberryNuggets were started 7 weeks ago. An Autoseeds BerryRyder, and Dinafem OGKush were planted a couple weeks later in the same tent.
Too many plants, but I crave variety.
The biggest single tent height difference is between Skywalker (4 ft tall) and StrawberryNuggest (a 1 ft tall, wide berth plant).
Everything is thriving.
Tangled roots aren't an issue.
The main problem with light distance is that some plants get too tall, even after topping and training. The SuckerPunch was topped and LSTed, but is now almost 5 ft tall and tacoing.
My experience is that even 40" of light distance can grow excellent plants, and that's about how far the StrawberryNuggets is away.
I'm willing to give up on optimal light distances to get more variety.

I agree fully about variety. I try to cram as many strains into a space as possible for the same reason. I don't honestly even smoke that much anymore, but when I do I look for very specific effects, so having ounces and ounces of the same plant isn't that appealing. Why not get something like a pointy soldering iron to pierce the tent and then use a pen or something round to open hole little more till your can snuggly fit the tube thru?

Hi Hazy, that's the general idea, but I should have added that I'm worried the hole will continue get bigger. I'm just not sure how grow tent material will react to being cut.

I don't think the hole will get bigger unless there is pressure (Weight) I have a few holes in my tent I used t rex tap to cover and they didn't get any bigger.. I really don't see there being enough weight while water is coming through the tube to tear the hole bigger .

Get flat piece of plastic and gorilla glue it to tent (both sides) and then pierce it and put tube through to make it stronger around the area tent won't be able to tear then. I'm getting ready to do my new grow and going to gravity feed and basically do the exact same thing, to save me being over to water all the time.

Yea I made decent size slit in my tent couple grows back to bring some cables fine, no problems... Don't over think it bud, should be no problem. So long as it doesn't get yanked, but even then I think it be fine.. I'll be doing my water tube holes tomorrow, started setting my tent up yesterday.
