Told my daughter this some time ago, and it's very relevant with today's social media platforms:

If you aren't paying for the service, you are the product.
 
It's so true. I have an account, but no details and no pictures. I use it for family and a few friends from the years past. I bet I'm on about 5-6 times a year, birthdays and holidays. I had another account for my growing but that got shut down. There was nothing personal there, so much so I couldn't prove it was me that owned the account!
I just had my wife attempt to remove the photos of me she has as she is a regular user.
