I was at this concert....the Atlanta Pop Festival........400,000 people.........when Midnight rolled around and it became the 4th of July, Jimi played the Star Spangled Banner and they shot off $25,000 of fireworks......which in 1970 was probably the same as 75,000 bucks now........both Atlanta Pop Festivals i count as some of the coolest experiences of my life!
