I'm pretty sure the beans are fine. Also not sure I want to be implying that they are doing anything else besides a shit job of handling sensitive customer data.

I have a feeling the email I got was the same one he sent to whomever is responsible for processing the payment. That the data is handled outside the context of a standard payment processing page is what has me concerned, and why I won't trust them with that data again. He might trust his employees not to copy it down, but I don't. And I shouldn't have to.

I think you are probably right re the seeds.....you are definitely right about the way they handle customer payment data!

Well, I fell for it............luckily it worked out......come to think of it, aren't we all breaking federal law to some extent?
Perhaps. But it is also one of the advantages of ordering from an international vendor. If they are intercepted by customs, they generally just confiscate them and that's the end of the story. If it was a q'per of dank, I suspect an investigation would ensue...

To promise to send actual cured weed through the mail is something nobody in their right mind would do as a business. I am sure people fall for it, and when they do they are just out the money.

Edit: If not also now on some kind of watch-list

Not to mention that if they are emailing that information, unless they are taking steps to encrypt or mask it they're sending information through the 'Net in clear text that really shouldn't be out there for sniffers to find.

Mike, that is exactly what I'm saying I did.......and it worked exactly as promised...it was from here in the States and was sent USPS! This company has a large website and catalogue of various strains, oils and edibles for sale. Payment is handled through Bitcoin.

I saw one of those sites that try to sell you buds via post. In the review section there were about 20 or so absolutely glaring reviews, all from different accounts, but all clearly written by the same person. The very last one was a question "How can you guys get away with this?" The reply was "They can't. Save your money."

To be fair, you'd have to look pretty far and wide to find an email server that didn't use encrypted email transport. The other "red flag" for a website is when you tell them you forgot your password, so they email it to you. Storing user passwords in plain-text (as opposed to a strong one-way hash) is just...... I die a little inside whenever I see that.

I was scared to death to try this site.....like you,, everything screamed ripoff to me. The only reason I did was that, one, I was desperate due to medical reasons, and two, a poster on another forum mentioned the site as reliable and one that could be trusted to deliver as promised. I checked it out and decided to take a chance.....sent in an order, obtained Bitcoin and had the requested amount sent to their "wallet". As I said earlier, 4 days later I received 1/4 oz of Pineapple Trainwreck that was all well trimmed quality buds and weighed slightly over 7Gms. It does the trick, too! I guess I was lucky or something!

I would be absolutely terrified to buy it that way. Glad it worked out for ya! :pass:

This is kind of a long story, so please bear with me.

Probably about 15 years ago, I had a friend out in California that would send me a few ounces a month via FedEx. It was very well packaged and hidden, but it was stanky dank. We figured overnight shipping would give it less time where it would be exposed to possible discovery... Anyway, one particular shipment was sent out on the day before christmas eve, for arrival at my place by 10am the next morning. It didn't arrive.

Tracking said "Out for delivery" and never changed. At about 6PM I started to get really worried. Sure, it's Christmas Eve, and I imagine FedEx is busy as a cat covering shit... but 8 hours late? Then 9. Then 10.

So I called FedEx to ask what the deal was.... They reported that the driver had already returned to the depot and must not have delivered the package.

Now I am getting nervous. Do I draw attention to the package or just wait and hope it shows up sooner or later...

The guy on the phone said he would have a look and see if he could find it. Came back 10 minutes later and said "come on down and pick it up if you like, or we'll deliver it on the 26th.

So I did what anyone who had no weed for christmas would do, I drove down to FedEx to either get my weed or get arrested.

I was nervous as shit, but everything worked out.

That was the last time I did that.

As a prologue, I stayed up until about 4am getting stoned and watching christmas programming. At about 3am, I broke out in song along with Burl Ives "Have a holly jolly christmas"

Then my wife woke up.

I was absolutely terrified in point of fact, lol! I can laugh about it now, but can easily relate to how you must have felt, especially back then. About the same time, I had a female friend up in New England that would periodically send me a oz of some top shelf homegrow . She would pack it inside a big jar of organic peanut butter that was made near her house by carefully scraping out enough pb to hold the weed and smooth over the top of the butter with a warm knife and srew the top back on.......you really couldn't tell anything had occured....this went on for almost a year, until she dropped one of the packages on the concrete post office floor while shipping it. Of course it shattered, being back when jars were still glass.......the odor of pb and something else rapidly began to permeate the air of the PO! She rapidly gathered up everything and ran out the door.....her days of MJ mailing over!

That was the last time I did that.
