Hey brother here is some 95% Grain Alcohol available in the UK.
If you have any independant specialist off licences in your area/city they may have "Spirytus" or maybe able to order in, high Street chains may not carry it.
I have include the web links for the 2 different brands below!
Here is another one I've used in the past Spiritus Rekyfikowany 95% grain alcohol. £30.98 for 500ml from - http://www.beersofeurope.co.uk/spirytus-monopolowy-extra-fine

Only experience with parts of it...thank goodness. Learned about wearing gloves to work with peppers when I started cooking with them and was making a marinade. It called for a few seeded jalapenos that you toss in a blender with some lime juice and a bunch of other stuff then marinade a flank steak in it. Was my first run using several peppers in one recipe. Anyhow..cleaned them all by hand, removing all the seeds without realizing I should be wearing gloves. Did it after dinner and dishes so that the steak could soak overnight. Anyhow...wasn't feeling much until a little later when I was taking a shower. Washing up and just trying to figure out why the hot water was making my hands feel like they were on fire! Took me a minute to connect the dots and haven't prepped peppers without gloves since. :smoking:
