Good morning Stoners. 9Bear, did you get to harvest before you went in?

I know I'm on a rant. But I can't stop myself.

take your parents, Corn A and Corn B. each red arrow is a new generation.

Back Crossing.. Take you're parents and make seeds, then take those seeds, and mate it back to one of the parents. Then keep doing that, and in each new generation (F2, F3, etc..) you choose the best ones that have the traits you want, and just pass those on. It means that each generation has increased chance of getting the new trait you want, but the stability and genetics of the parent. After doing that for 6 or 7 generations you have your commercially ready seed.

@Rev. Green Genes

So I got some f5 regs ,, popped 8 ended up with two distinct expressions , 5 of one 3 of another , now out of the 5 I had one male and 4 female which is the expression I prefered I culled the other 3

So I plan to seed the best two girls so they would be F6 but lol I still don't get it

They will not be F6, they will be a new cross... an F1.

in order for it to be an F6 you would need to have access to that seeds parent.
