You're lucky, they basically closed down dedicated grow stores so our only option is the DIY chains and garden centres selling the same generic or branded stuff for "regular" plants, but you can get results from that stuff and, if you look around, you can get things cheap enough. But you have to go north of the border to Holland for the advice, etc, and that's where you see the Euro signs flashing in their eyes as they know anyone asking for advice will be more likely to be willing to spend an arm, leg and both testicles on the most expensive stuff they have.
Or you go mail order, which is another area where they jack the prices up because they know they have a captive market.
So I do my research, then find what has the "right" compounds in it at a price I like, and since it's all "normal", and ideally "bio", nutes, compost, etc, nobody bats an eyelid, especially with other, legal, things always growing on the windowsills.
This country may be somewhat "backwards" in many respects but one good thing is that as long as you are not drawing attention to yourself by being stupid they, the authorities, will generally leave you alone because otherwise that means they have to get off their asses and do something when, frankly, someone growing a couple of plants for his own use isn't worth their time and paparework, you can get away with quite a lot as long as you're not stupid, which is where most fall down because they do do something stupid which gets them the attention they don't want.
