Dont really know about those islands. Only Terceria (or how ever you spell it). But if all the others looked like where I was at, you will fall in love with that place. I left there in 2012 and that place still reserves a spot, so peaceful and relaxing, the locals are great people. During the spring summer and beginning of fall there is usually a festival that last a week long and a different village hosts it every week. The bigger towns or villages will have the rave feel parties at night, while the smaller villages has that old village type felling to it (more authentic I should say)
Well I've had a longtime love affair with the place, but only in the last couple years have come to know it a little more. I just knew my grandmas folks came from there and it always had draw for me...I'm no traveler but my sister is and she's setting it all up.

Damn,,wish I was at home on lap top...I have some pics to share also!..damn it ..hate adulting
I like these types of pics. Made some great memories. share after your adulting responsibilities. I am on my adult responsibility weekend break (sun-mon)

I rode a Seadoo through one of those storms on my lake once, another lesson learned, if your are going full throttle through one of those be prepared for some pain, lol. Young and dumb!

Our snakes likely seem like nothing to someone from the south!! We have mostly constrictors, but we also have rattlers. Rat snakes, fox snakes, rattlers, garden snakes. Don't have to worry about any except for the rattlers and they are rather recluse. Fox snakes ccan be an issue due to their curiosity and potential size. Having an 8 foot constrictor jumping in a boat or canoe with you, can cause a bit of a ruckuss!!

This lake claims many lives every year....waves of 10 feet and bigger are not uncommon in storms or high wind days. I have almost been there myself!! Good thing i know how to take large waves in a small craft!
