A lot of the shoreline we're fishing is lined with this limestone karst terrain

Our snakes likely seem like nothing to someone from the south!! We have mostly constrictors, but we also have rattlers. Rat snakes, fox snakes, rattlers, garden snakes. Don't have to worry about any except for the rattlers and they are rather recluse. Fox snakes ccan be an issue due to their curiosity and potential size. Having an 8 foot constrictor jumping in a boat or canoe with you, can cause a bit of a ruckuss!!
Hahaha I bet. i have a few that are pretty poisonous; water moccasins, copper heads, rattlers (torwards the mountains) and coral snakes (more torwards the coastal areas. but your really dont see them that much unless you are in the forests, and you still dont see them often. the spiders are worse where i live because of the lake area

Ive come across a moccasin.....those fucks will chase you right out of the swamp!! And i am not scared to admit...I got the hell out of there!! :D
