actually I think that is another part of problem, people try treat coco as it's soil and it's just not....beneficial bact, should be added to coco grow, very rarely do ya ever have to flush, unless somehow come up with an issue... the flush I refer to is before there has been any plant set in the coco and if your totally controlling the grow, like I do then none of that will be an issue..I wouldn't think there would be any bact in a brick of coco, i'd sure hope not, it's dry as shit am not sure how anything could survive that...
Not to get all science on ya....buuuttt...bacteria can be found in dry, inhospitable climates and what seems to be inert mediums..Water is the key to setting them in motion...now back to our regularly scheduled program. Lol.

Coco is awesome. You get a pretty good control over the girls with basicly instant effects when feeding them. Like growing in soil but with hydro-growth. Im just on the beginning of my learning-curve in coco but it beats soil in every aspect expect if you want a grow with as little work as possible. In soil the girls can take care of them self if just the basics is under control.
With ph and nutrients in check with coco the growth is monsterlike.
Want to see how big of a difference there is in Dwc vs coco.

yeah I add a couple things myself, actually I get some massive roots, they even coming out top of coco! That's probably why I get decent size plants as well..
