I soaked some coco bricks last night, rinsed a few times then rinsed a few more times with PH water@ 6.0 and threw some calmag in with it to let it sit over night. I will be using 3Gal smart pots and was wondering if anyone also soaks or rinses the smart pot before using? This will be my first coco grow, will be adding 30% perlite today and dropping a ChemBubbly that was soaked and ready for a pot.
when i started growing i got a lil spray/mist bottle,it broke after a week and i never got round to getting another for years.then when i did get round to it i filled it with Ona liquid.so 5 years on i still dont have a spray mister.
if plenty of cannabis plants outside rarely/never see rain.why do people spray everyday ? and is it needed ?
Heya Archie. No, its not needed. Its just a procedure to get a little more from the plant. A little of this, a little of that. It all adds up. First book I ever read on growing suggested it. Just a 1/4 strength of the same nutes you feed. You never really know how much it helped. Just that it didn't hurt. Now there are products out specifically for Foliar Feeding. Some legit, some that sound like snake oil.
Pic 1 is the GG4, "post op". She seems to enjoy coco a lot more than she did the rockwool. She started pushing out new growth within an hour of hitting the coco.
Pic 2 is GG4 the second. Started in coco. Seems to like staring at the wall.
Pic 3 is the RQS Diesel Autofem.
Scored a 50 gal tote from my sis that she was throwing out..I said hell no, I can't believe you are throwing this out,it's perfect..Plenty of soil mix to compost in it..Grabbed an old terry towel and now I'm just giving it a good cleaning and rinse..
