I just went out and bought some more totes to start working my outdoor garden's soil.. Landlord said the neighbors complained about my garden last year since part of it was on their property, so she doesn't want me growing a big outdoor garden this year.. Kind of a bummer, but I must have 3yds+ of soil that is outside in 2 large bins, and all I did was toss some all-purpose organic granules (5-10-10) and some lime and tossed it a couple times.. I don't know what to do with all of it, because there's A LOT, so I'm gonna start bringing it in, about 40gals at a time and start re-amending it, and maybe selling satchels on the local Craigslist, as "super-soil".. Seems to be a good thing to do, and I can make a few extra $$$'s in the process.. I will take about a 1/3 of it though, and keep it for myself..

The current soil I'm using is on it's 2nd run, and I have soil that will be going on its 4th run.. Unfortunately, I think because I used the Mammoth P regularly, I killed the soil, so I did a sort of heavy re-amendment, and will probably throw some veggie/fruit compost in there to get the soil back up to par.. I may also send a sample out to get tested to see where it's at.. In reality, I probably have close to $500 in soil that needs a little work, but I can't just throw that away!!! I will mention though, if I keep growing plants at this rate, I'm gonna need it!!!!! 12, 5-gal nursery pots every 1.5 months means I need a good amount of soil, regularly..

Yeah man, hit up Logan Labs, you'll know exactly what needs work as far as amending that soil.

Well some will perhaps think I lost plot but I add a Box cornflakes and milk powder to the soil I recycling with compost an that  and I go and get clover and roots from the fields to tea up and throw in pot ,,,leafs and a layer of this dirt that collect when the geese stop over in the boggy field seems to be OK :woohoo1:

I now have all the parts to put together my light system.... I think. Just need the lights. heatsinks were backordered!. It's like my kitchen cabinet fiasco all over again. I just now got them, should have been here in december.....

but I get this to get me through the cold nights: with no kitchen sink.... or stove. for just a few more days.
