sup stoners.

I just mixed up a batch of potting soil, April is just around the corner. I'm gonna plant a garden for salsa and chilli canning this year I think. My GF is supposed to be putting together a list of plants for the recipes she wants, and I get choose the cultivars and stuff. Now I just need to remember to turn it every few days and keep it moist.

Sweet very nice I just got a 12x2 outdoor raised bed to have a go at in summer ,,,,thinking how many things I can get going in the space I can't grow weed outside will be interested to see how that goes

So I've had a tote set aside to throw my used soil in after grows to be reamended and reused at some point...I made a rice wash for my AvT and took the rice that was soaking in the cheesecloth and dumped it in the tote...A week later, just lifted the lid to give it a good stir, which I do every so often...and was greated with life..The rice has been smothered by mycelium and the tote walls are dripping..Can't wait to see how this soil performs on the 2nd cycle.

I just went out and bought some more totes to start working my outdoor garden's soil.. Landlord said the neighbors complained about my garden last year since part of it was on their property, so she doesn't want me growing a big outdoor garden this year.. Kind of a bummer, but I must have 3yds+ of soil that is outside in 2 large bins, and all I did was toss some all-purpose organic granules (5-10-10) and some lime and tossed it a couple times.. I don't know what to do with all of it, because there's A LOT, so I'm gonna start bringing it in, about 40gals at a time and start re-amending it, and maybe selling satchels on the local Craigslist, as "super-soil".. Seems to be a good thing to do, and I can make a few extra $$$'s in the process.. I will take about a 1/3 of it though, and keep it for myself..

The current soil I'm using is on it's 2nd run, and I have soil that will be going on its 4th run.. Unfortunately, I think because I used the Mammoth P regularly, I killed the soil, so I did a sort of heavy re-amendment, and will probably throw some veggie/fruit compost in there to get the soil back up to par.. I may also send a sample out to get tested to see where it's at.. In reality, I probably have close to $500 in soil that needs a little work, but I can't just throw that away!!! I will mention though, if I keep growing plants at this rate, I'm gonna need it!!!!! 12, 5-gal nursery pots every 1.5 months means I need a good amount of soil, regularly..

I would so take that off your hands. I got plenty of gardens and alsways need more materials.... allsways.

1 gallon red clay soil, 1 quart builders sand
6 gallon recycled last years potting mix, recycled peat plugs, partially decomposed roots.
2 gallon overwintered oak and maple leaves
large bag of "garden soil" with a tiny amount of NPK
1 pound roasted buckwheat and 1 pound spelt grain
2 cups jobes compost starter
cardboard strips, chainsaw curls, sawdust, hardwood ash
2 cups gypsum, 1 cup lime, 2 cups Azomite, 1 cup Epsom

during the read of that recipe, my mind ... went 2 places ....first mortar bricks and then i saw roasted buckwheat and spelt and thought is he making a bread ?:crying::crying:

:funny: Yep, thats it.

It's just the only grains and other crap I have left over from last year. All I had to get was the azomite and langbeinite. I mix it in with perlite and vermiculite if its laying around too, at planting.

When you say mammoth p killed soil you mean like it drained it of p and micro nutrients? Or :pass:
