Prez, I'd be more than glad if you'd posted your photos so we could compare stuff.. the girls are looking good.. since this is my first grow.. I'm having a hard time to know when to start the 10day flush im gonna give 'em

Post an updated photo and I'll be glad to tell you if I think they are ready to flush yet.

cupcake, i'll post a budshot when i get home tonight :)

muddy, i'd love your imput on if my oldest girl is ready or not also

Would be happy to. Make sure it's a full plant shot, not just the bud.

bud comparison

first three pics are the g13 labs auto white russian and the last one is my tall easy ryder pheno

you can def tell mine have the strong indica structure your buds/leaves seem to have a lil more sativa in them but maybe thats just me

oh and muddy the white russian broke soil on oct 20th and the ER on the 28th i've pulled off a few yellow lower fan leaves already from the WR but the er is getting many more which is freaking me out a lil i want her to fill out more

I agree that you should maybe feed for another week at least before the flush, your buds are getting there but that top cola can go as fat as your fist, Post up yer full frontal photo so we can see the rest of the devlopement. Try and do it out of the HPS and in daylight if possible so we get to see true colours. By this stage on my first grow i had already started chopping from 7 weeks old, great smoke but not enough! You could chop those now and get a nice high smoke but i feeel leaving feed them for another week then allow a 10-14 day flush period your going to get closer to those fist thick buds. You are def on the right track.

It's snow time!

Update:

the girls got thirsty this evening, so me N' my buddy toked up and discussed if to start flushing or not.. at last I've came to a decision and watered 6.85 pH tap water bubbled and added 5ml bio-bloom, 8ml bioheaven, all that into 10L of water.. did that to clean the soil and to keep some nutrients coming and the pH, to correct the last runoff pH check on the last watering that showed a grim 5.8.. so on today's check the pH has gone up to 6.2'ish.. maybe more hopefully.. is that a good runoff pH range? does anyone knows optimal pH runoff at soil growing?

now A question directed to people who know their way around dry ice hash and\or to spelsylver

and as follows.. to get the pics and to make the plants more ''breathing'' and so light can penetrate better the yellowing leaves who are almost barely not attached to the plant and are shading budsites.. the question is.. CAN ALL LEAVES be used to make dry ice hash using micron bags and dry ice [obviously]. or only sweet-leaf and popcorn\useless lower branch small buds.

do all leaves have thc in 'em that can be extracted using dry ice or not?

================================================

thanks for the answers AFN'ers. keep it real.. now.. for the most important part.. the pics! [I'll also give a pic update tommorow around the same time as today].:D

P.S: I was thinking next watering is already starting the day 10 flush.. no guys? If so next ''feed'' is going to be bubbled water with no ph adjustments and using Ripen and Final Flush, is this correct? and btw I heard it can and meant to be used together at same waterings.. is this correct?

Thanks in Advance.

~Cupcake

BIG EDIT:

Just took the calendar. theyr'e on day 54 from seed. which means they're about to finish theyr'e going to be 8 weeks old in 2-3days or so. just thought it was important info.

Maybe it's because the pics were taken under the light, but I'm not seeing much yellowing of your fan leaves yet, so I would keep feeding nutrients. I'd give them at least another week or until there is significant yellowing on the fan leaves before starting the flush. 6.2 is good on the run off. Anything up to about 6.5 is good. When you do start to flush, make sure your water is pHed.

Yes, you can use all the leaves to make hash. The bigger fan leaves don't have a lot of trics but usually there are some, especially along the stems.

i've pulled alot of big fan leaves and many leaves that yellowed up.. they get pulled very easy... so i would consider this as significant yellowing.. or it isn't what i am looking for?

I just got your pm cupcake...

I throw out all the fan leaves that don't have any thc on them and use all the trim and popcorn buds for dry ice hash.

If you really wanted to be sure though, take a microscope to the leaves you are questioning...if the leave and or stalk has heads attached to the hairs, use it for the dry ice extraction! I've noticed a lot of the hairs on the stalks on th fan leaves tend to be hairs with no heads...and then some stems are covered with thc...you can use those stems for dry ice extraction. It gets it so cold the trichs break off very fast and with ease. Good luck :D
