Mephisto Genetics Cosmic Queens in not quite living soil

day 42
Both plants are still expanding - the little CQ, aka Ms Woozy-Twoshoes, is 40cm tall today, and the large CQ, who I'm minded to call Sissi from now on, is 64cm tall, with her main canopy at 50cm.

Can you see the likeness?! lol

Queen Sissi of Austria ;)

OK maybe not, the pix today don't really do her Starriness justice haha
Main cola structure:

And trich madness, though she's not smelling much yet beyond a discreet whiff of sweet haziness.
Around the mainbud:

And a nicer pic from the foremost secondary branch

Woozy Twoshoes' buds are looking a bit different, somehow more squat, the pistils are more greenish/transparent than white, and she's less into spreading trichs all over herself:

day 45
OK they're starting to get on my nerves now lol
While Sissy seems to be slightly slowing down in growth - standing 68cm tall today - now Woozy 2shoes has decided to be annoying by growing 7cm in the past days and is now 47cm tall.

Don't get me wrong, I love their vitality and all, but it also keeps increasing the time it will take for the lights to be freed up, and I really would like to have them! The photoperiod I've got going in the other half of the closet is taking the HPS I've had to add for want of more COBs as an insult it seems?! She's started flowering, but only where she's getting COB light LMAO
aaaah what a mess lol

So trying to ignore that downside, here they are!

(the yellow spots are from the HPS lighting that I left on to get my camera to behave)

Cosmic starriness!

Sissi's top bud

And just trichs everywhere - on the sugar leaves! on the air buds! even on the fan leaf stems!
I have this feeling I should defoliate her a bit more, but sheez! :D

Lower part of the main stem:

Oh I hate it when plants get too big! They are looking happy and healthy. That last pic is the money shot, fantastic

:headbang:
Yeah quite a lucky catch that one!!

Yeha my NLH was just badly managed - may have to do with the fact that she had a really rough start and I wasn't really counting onher to turn round as she has :D So now I just gotta suck it up and at least let the CQs unfold fully lol

Cheers! :pass:

She said, reeking of hazy sweetness after having spent 3 hours defoliating the crap out of the Cosmic Queens :smoking:

The leaves (and a few tertiary branches) got chopped up, some of them blendered and watered in (1handful for Woozy, 2 for Sissy), the rest mulched back to their respective plants.

And back in the closet

May have been a tad drastic, but it's around new moon and considering how Sissy's leaves are piling on trichs is probably pretty much the last pass at her too :jointman:

Where is my smoothie? :eyebrows: one member used to drink them himself after a trim session.

Nice job trimming!
LMAO
I admit, I always take a sip on the way from the kitchen to the closet -- I can really recommend comfrey too, it's not tasty (cannabis is way nicer!), but hella healthy :D
cheers!

I would think some of the beneficial canabanoids would be in the leaf, especially at this stage. I know he posted an article about the benefits from Channa leaf when juiced.

That sounds very interesting - I hadn't thought much about it beyond - if it's good for the plants, it must be good for me too - to now!
definitely something to look into more :D
Do you perchance remember where that article can be found? :cooldance:haha
cheers!
