Controlling smell

thats awesome, if my odar ever gets out of control i will try that
though i grow on the balcony, it always smells like weed out there as atleast 3 of my neighbors smoke on their balconys, so i dont see to much point in hiding a smell that is constantly around from many sources anyway :D

Throw a few drops, to a tablespoon of vanilla extract onto a baking sheet and toss that in the oven at 225 degrees F. Your whole house will smell like cookies for a few hours. Repeat as often as you like. Same goes with garlic as already mentioned and curry and pretty much any other really smelly food. Good cooking will cover that canna odor for a little bit, at least but after the harvest and you find you might have a little extra $ defo buy a good carbn filter and maybe a back up just in case.

Has any one had experience with ozone generators? I have a carbon filter that is working fine but it has bin rather hot so i've had too open the side window on the tent and stick a desk fan facing it. The problem with this is that its stinking my house out and I'm close to loosing my growing rights. Should i invest in another inline fan for an intake so i can close that window up or would the ozone generator be a viable option?

CVS One Drop clears odor in minutes with no masking scent. One oz $5 US . Ingredients say isopropanol and ethanol. Just one drop and odors gone for a half day at least. At least you are not getting a large dose when using. There is another One Drop from Thailand that appears to have different ingredients. I have used this(the CVS one) on strong odors and it worked great but I have not had to use it for growing aromas .

an ozone generator in the house would help... but wouldnt cover it... if you're gonna do it... do it right and exhaust fan that shit.. :2cents:

use this http://www.amazon.com/PurePlug-Air-Purifier-Plug-Completely/dp/B008CQO62W

voltage is 100-240

had it for a few month....my parents go past all sorts of smelly shit and they keep tellin' me how my room smells fresh...they didn't even notice cigarette smoke a few hours after i aired the room and then closed it and cranked up the generator.

try it...if shit goes down you'll really wish you spent those 40 bucks

Try Taping dryer sheets to the back of your circulation fans makes your room smell like fresh laundry they last a few days and mask the smell pretty well and its really cheap. Also you can plant sage around your front door helps if the cops ever come knocking.:bong:

Just thought I'd update everyone on my situation. The tea tree, vinegar and baking soda seem to be working great. My whole house smells like tea tree oil and I can't smell anything outside anymore :D
