Hey there everyone! Got some exciting news today, I am launching a journal for my outdoor grow! I will be growing an array of @FastBuds strains in 5 gallon fabric pots containg my own organic potting mixture. The strains I have chosen for this run are LSD-25, green crack, pineapple express, crystal meth, six shooter, northern express, and blackberry.

All of my seeds sprouted successfully. Conditions are slightly different for some plants. The northern express, six shooter, and blackberry have light seed starting mixture in the center of the pot for them to root in. I forgot to put this mix in with the other 4 plants.

I did have some issues germinating the LSD and crystal meth; the seed hull got stuck on both of those seedlings and I had to perform surgery to remove it. Due to this, they are about 3 days behind the pineapple express and green crack, though the sprouted at the same time.

Also, I am concerned about their size. The gc, pe, cm, and lsd are all around two weeks old and are only pushing out a second set of leaves. We did have pretty bad weather with tons of clouds and rain the last 2 weeks though. Hopefully they won't suffer too badly from this.

The six shooter, northern express, and blackberry all started showing above the soil today. Tomorrow will probably be day 1, when they're standing and their baby leaves are out. I germinated these differently than the rest, I planted them directly into the soil and here they have sprouted 5-6 days later.

I have pics of the four older ones but not the ones that have just sprouted. Could you guys tell me if they look okay? I think they look quite healthy (other than some insect damage) but they're staying so small. Not enough light maybe? Here's the pics, let me know what you guys think.

Do you guys think they'll be runs or will they be okay? Should I try to supplement lighting at night for my freshly sprouted seeds? Thanks for the time guys, hope you enjoy this one!

Alright guys, so my indoor plants have pretty much finished up and I'll be focusing my attention on this thread now.

So far: the LSD-25 damped off at about 10 days. I was pretty disappointed that it was that one, but it happens, ya know. Other than that, the other 6 are doing pretty well. Unfortunately, we had about a 2 and a half week spell that had maybe 2 days without rain, so they got delayed a bit in the beginning, but I'm starting to think autos don't strictly depend on age for flowering, I think size plays a bit of a factor as well because my 3 oldest are right around 4 weeks now and have just started showing their preflowers, whereas my indoor plants stared showing theirs at 3 weeks. This makes me feel better because I thought my yield was going to seriously suffer, but I have a little hope now.

I'm going to go ahead and apologize for my laziness here, I tried to capture all the plants in the fewest photos possible lol so I'm sorry of they're not the best, if you guys want nice individual pics I'll do that one day soon.

On the left is my six shooter, on the right is northern express. Both are approximately 16 days old. Northern express is starting to show branch sites.

So on the left we have the green crack (luckily) the most vigorous of all the seeds I planted! I say luckily because I REALLY want this one lol. It's already starting to stink a bit, and branches are about to pop out everywhere. She showed preflowers 2 or 3 days ago. On the right is the crystal meth, which has the best looking foliage so far. Also showed preflowers 2 or 3 days ago. Branching, but not as heavily. Both plants are about 31 days old.

On the left is pineapple express. She's had really deformed looking leaves for some reason. She also seems to be the least vigorous of the 3 in this group (the 31 day old plants). She is starting to branch and has shown preflowers though. On the right is the blackberry, at 16 days old. She is the least vigorous out of her group of 3 as well. Still looks decent though.

Here's a pic showing the heights kinda.

So there you have it. Deep down inside I feel that these plants are significantly smaller than they should be this far along. However, I'm hoping that they'll surprise me at least. If I could pull 1 oz per plant I would be okay with that. And also, like I said, it seems like they're just moving slower than my indoor ones, and honestly I'd be fine with letting them run to 80 or 90 days if it took them that long to finish. Do you guys think I could still pull a decent yield?

Once again, welcome to my outdoor autoflower grow everyone, I hope you guys join me on this adventure! I'll try to be diligent about keeping it updated as often as I can but I stay pretty busy throughout the summers, so idk how often it'll be. I'll shoot for at least once a week.

That's it for now. Stay vibin' lol.

I only grow outdoor autos and mine are around that size at that age. They never get bigger than about a foot tall and around an ounce each.
Nice, that makes me feel a little better. I would be happy with those results for sure. I think my younger ones may get a little bigger too, since they've had light from the beginning pretty much and no long periods of rain and clouds.

Hey thanks for the rep @HashMaster! Wish I could pass along a bit of the west coast og I'm smoking on right now...

In spirit my friend, lol.

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long, I was out of town last week and working my ass off this week but I'm back with another update finally. Well, let's get right into it, I'll talk about each of the strains under it's pic.

Sorry guys I have to leave unexpectedly I'll be back to edit this post or just add another post with my commentary. Peace out for now

About the slow growth make sure pH is in range and your plants receive the most direct sunlight possible.I think 6-7 at the very least per day to produce decent plants but the more light = bigger, tighter buds and larger yield.also with all the rain is your medium well draining?

Sorry for the absence guys. I've pretty much given up on this journal. I'm so disappointed with how this grow is going. These plants have failed me for some reason. They are significantly less developed than my indoor plants were.

@BISCUITS my medium drains quite well and I do believe my pH is in range as my indoor plants are growing in the same soil and doing quite well. As far as lighting, on bad days they get around 6 hours, 10 on good days. I really don't know what's wrong.

In any case, I probably won't be posting here anymore. My plants are bud on a stick, they look like I'll be lucky to get a quarter off of each of them. And my crystal meth plant is really fucked, the top is all gnarled and not budding, it looks like all the leaves are flipping me off. I don't know what I did wrong. I've been racking my brain trying to think of problems but I can't.

Sorry guys. I really wish I had something worth sharing with the community. After I harvest these I'll probably discontinue my growing activities until I can put the money into a proper set up, if that ever even happens.

Best wishes to all my fellow growers out there, I'll still be following other journals and trying to learn as much as I can so that whenever I get another chance to grow maybe things will go a little better. Hopefully you guys aren't as disappointed with this grow as I am.

Colonel out.

Edit: forgot to mention, I haven't even let my plants get rained on. I move them under shelter where they can still get decent light every time it has rained. I water every 3 to 5 days depending on the weight of the pot. I don't think it's a water issue.
