Oh Yeah!!
Now I am cleaning and getting ready to sell all my HID stuff. Hope to offset some of the costs. Cutting the electric bill by 60-75% will drive the rest of the ROI and pretty quickly too.
Hopefully you can recoup quickly. Unfortunately you won't see the energy savings till the electric bill comes in. Was just going to post a picture of my new Ac installed. 12k btu in a room that would take 4K watts of hps to light up. Doing it with a third of that now and it's very comfortable. This 12k wouldn't touch 4K watts of hps

Wow! You built that? I've looked at hundreds of circuit boards just in awe. Who designs these or builds them, guess that's settled now. Amazing
I did indeed. Please know that my skills are soldering and following directions!! I belong to a DIY audio forum. That place is frequented by some of the best audio people in the world!! It is rather amazing actually. I mean Nelson Pass of Threshold fame, you know the $10,000.00 high end audio craziness stuff, commented on my interpretation of one of his designs! I basically build and alpha / beta test stuff or just build these neat things.
Here it is. It's a combo of Papa's B1 pre, AmpCamp mono blocks and a USB DAC of another's design. I listen to it everyday in my office.

Now I know how others feel when I open up with techy cob stuff. You lost me but I am definitely amazed you built that. Hell that someone built it nevermind the guy I'm talking to. This is amazing.

Indeed and thanks!
Here is an interesting thought I just had. Talking about this stuff and digging up my old photos and things got me thinking. Due to some personal BS in my life I had to give up canna for 10-12 years. Started up again about 3.5 years ago. You know I stopped building gear so much and noticed that I listen to it a lot more... Still read about it but I am happy with what I have and really enjoy listening, especially after blazing an big one!! Pretty neat insight I think!

2-3 would be best. I think 2 would do fair and 3 would be just on the upper limits of light quantity.

Right on. Well, I've got the two still fresh in the box, so that's good news! Still gonna do at least one run in my 2.5x2.5 to see how that goes though. Thanks Smo.

I build and assemble these for over 10 years. Some design, but mostly automated machine programming and assembly. Hand soldering, wire harnessing, test, the works.
I have built well over 500,000 Vitamix boards, as well as many led builds. Most recognizable would be for the display on the Good Year Blimp. The light arrays for each grid on the blimp is over 100 yards long, those were fun LOL

I really should be doing some design with these cobs, but my assembly and wiring experience far outweighs my growing experience. Having said that, these autocobs sure are making it easy for a noob!
